We're not excited at Taylor, we're depressed at Ariza. Its quite something when you want an unproven second round rookie over the veteran champion player. Anyway, how about giving Von Wafer another look? He should be recovered by now...

I've found the answer. In my job predictor tool (good fun), Trevor Ariza is not supposed to be a basketball player, but rather he should have been a Lhanbryde Community Worker - that was his mistake, not seeking his true calling.

So what happened to the one some people on this board, DD, like to call an All-Star, otherwise known as Brooks. He completely disappeared in the second half. He may eventually get there but he's definitely not there yet.

Be a true fan and keep cheering.

Again I say: credit for the rivals. Atlanta is almost 1st on the EC. They are a good team (and BAD fit for us) that completed a very solid game.

You never know, maybe Wednesday we have a chance to beat the Nuggets, we have to be prepared like we were in San Antonio.

    You get beat.

    ;)

    Obviously.....

The Hawks are a lot more talented up and down the roster, the Rockets have too many deficiencies primarily at the wing positions.

Unless Brooks goes off, we are going to lose to them every time.

BTW they are 3-0 against Boston this year too.

Ariza, Ariza, Ariza... I thought today he took good shots, but just has some serious work to do. That hawks team is scary. Very long tall guys, really hard to get in there and create offense.

    PS: Lets go after amar'e.

im sorry but if you've been in the leage for the length that ariza has, and you are a tmac wannabe, dribbling should have been his number one "work to do" that he had to do... The guy cant even dribble to save his life, oh and he shoots the threes and gets the green light for it like he is matt bullard or something...

I think lately Ariza is passing more the ball, and his defensive attitude has improved. Obviously his confidence is right now in tatters. He needs less minutes and less pressure.

Again what do you expect when three starters are defensive specialists? Guys like Battier and Ariza are fine when they are surrounded by Superstars. On this team they are just blackholes.

Glad to see Ariza get his minutes cut, too bad he is still throwing up too many shots a game.

More minutes for Taylor and Buddinger and less for Battriza. Let the kids play, I can't see us making the playoffs this year, we desperately need a lotto pick.

The Hawks are too big, too athletic, too good, and there are too many of them! It's like they run waves of big, athletic, hot shooting players on and off the court. Rockets were simply outgunned. C-Bud got his chance, and while his defense looked good at times, he has got to play with more energy and get his shooting stroke down, still just a tad off. J. Taylor looks like he might need a few minutes per game. I think the reality is beginning to set in; the Rockets are probably not going to the playoffs. They overachieved during the hardest part of the schedule, but look like they have run out of gas.

I hear you but what happened to all of "these are professionals" talk during the you-know-who gate? They should not get a pass on this. Hold them as accountable as the players on the teams before.

Brooks is not in the Superstar strata yet, he's an inconsistent prolific scorer at best.

This is what the organization did to themselves. The rotation should have been tweaked a long time ago and it didn't happen for the sake of "chemistry" or "system" and a great number of the members on here were all for it. Those who have said time and time again that a change was needed are appearing to be vindicated. It's funny how what many have said in previous threads here is becoming harder to deny by the "used car salesmen" that are our game commentators. And it stinks to see this but this was the road that they wanted to travel and now it has gotten a lot bumpier.

This season is quickly approaching the equivalent of having a 9, 7, 8 at the Black Jack table, a bust! Can things change? Sure, but in order for that to happen the same propaganda about heart, chemistry and hustle needs to be replaced with actual offense, a proven game changer/playmaker and dare I say it, clutch.
