Well this team has nothing else to care about because post season is out of the ?, were not good enough for the playoffs but not crappy enough for a top pick. A mediocre organization.

Did we win? Is this the same way we lose with rotations? Every game we lose for the entire season? Who cant notice that trend and change it through his adjustments if it the most common way we lose?

I wholeheartedly agree. Some posters on here think if a young, inexperienced playoff team makes it that it will boost their confidence and raise their stock, or being destroyed in the first round could kill all confidence in the young players and their stock could plummet.

Chip away, in my opinion. I was 100% down with Carmelo with Yao here, but it makes me a little leery now (that is, if it's really a foregone conclusion he's ending up in New York).

Still, it may be better than nothing. Losing more is better than 9th seed, in my opinion... and you can lose more by moving these role players/depth for future pieces. Draft picks, less salary on the books long-term. Rubio/Cousins types would be ideal but that may be pie in the sky. I've used the Jeff Green example in the past.

Thankfully I have some bleach in stock. Time to go take a swig for the Texans and Rockets.

Yeah it's Rick's fault we couldn't beat the lakers in a 7 game series with Chuck, Scola, Artest, Battier and Brooks as our starting lineup.

The team we started the year with was a championship contender, the team we finished the year with wasn't even a legitimate playoff contender.

This is proof we are in tanking mode and not winning now mode.

I guarantee you even without losses there is no way this team was standing pat. Like you said, it is not a contender, and that is in plain view to Morey and Co., even if this season had gone perfectly and we were on pace for 50 wins. So losses now will not force their hand either way.

The only effect from losses is we might be able to pressure Denver a little bit if they are at all interested in trading with us(they might not be). The reason being if we keep losing, there would be no point at all in "renting" Carmelo if we are already out of the playoff race. So in regards to that we might be able to give them a deadline before they lose us as an option as well.

I thought Jared Jeffries being in the game would build more of a tanking case.

(Joking of course... no way in hell Adelman or any one of those Rockets players are tanking)

I would be even more disgusted with a Carmelo trade, he doesn't want to be here and "renting" would maybe get this team into the playoffs (7th or 8th) then knocked out. Then he leaves Rockets have nothing and then would truly be rebuilding only this time without assets. I try to remain optimistic, but let's be honest this team is needing a true star and there aren't many options to obtain one.

I am in my complaining about Rick autobot mode. Does not compute.

Chuck had been doing a good job and Randolph wasn't as effective in the first. He only got rolling towards the end and then it's too late to bring in someone who hasn't played.

Well that could be one of the reasons Brooks is playing like a moron. But really, we might as well have him keep on chucking...I'd rather not trade him and if he keeps on chucking that means the organisation can lose more games and get a better pick.

Can't understand why Rick waits that much to start the rotations at the 1st and 3rd quarters. Then he's late for the rest of the game.

Specially if you are struggling with your 2nd unit, mix it with the first one, don't put it in as a whole at the same time.

You're losing 90% of your games for the same reasons, at least try something different.

    Not tanking, "developing" ;)

Seriously though, we need to trade the vets and develop the young talent that we have. So at least we can play for something that can benefit us in the future. No matter if we win or lose, the development of players like Patterson, Williams and Hill, would be the important thing.

Not to mention it will help us in our draft positioning...

Its good. I want us to lose these games. Pointless to win them really. Jefferies is simply purely an expiring. Battier at least has some nominal value.
