Fair enough. Then talk to Budinger and Hill as well. Those were having 2 bad games as well looking uninspired.

the refs were calling all ticky tack fouls, ruined the flow of the game. Memphis is damn good though.

I remember Chuckwagon shutting down Z-Bo every time we played them last year. Tonight he was dominating the Rockets.

    Exactly.

Chander looked good, and Chase had a decent game.....but we are spreading the minutes too thinly, playing too many people....but maybe that is Morey's plan anyway.

    SAVE THE PICK 2012 !

We rested our starters for the same reasons the Spurs rested theirs a night ago, by your logic Greg Popovich should be fined for shutting Duncan off for the entire second half, he must be shamelessly tanking.

That one game Memphis won last year, Randolph was unstoppable. It was the best stretch a player has had against the Modesto Monster that I can remember.

IMHO its time for Parsons and Dalembert to start. Hill just isn' cutting it, and 3 games in I think Dalembert has built up enough stamina to start and play more minutes. C-bud...Mchale's got to give him some time off to assess his game. Parsons is someone who won't be a defensive liability at the very least, and having both of them would instead of Hill and C-bud will really help on the boards and on D.

I do not know if I should laugh or cry. You have the ability to actually take the positive out of a very negative performance......Yes Chase had a decent game in 'being the starter without actually performing like a starter' game. This time he scored, well bricked his way to 11 points and zero zero.
    Nice........

We need a banger like Chuck for Powerforward. Only Morey didnt think that far ahead to keep Chuck and use Dalembert as the center. Get all our scoring from the SF, Sg, and PG positions. Thats how the Bulls did it when winning 6 straight. Scola could have been backing up Chuck Hayes as the scoring 6th man. If Morey was actually serious about winning.

I think Flynn has been watching too many Clippers games and thinks that he's now CP3 throwing lobs to BG and DJ.

Newsflash... Sammy D isnt Blake Griffin Johnny.

-Other than that I really dont take too much from this game. Memphis clearly was the better team tonight because they defended the paint, made Scola obsolete, and Zach Randolph was allowed to do whatever he wanted. Its starts in the paint.

The coaching should take some of the blame, ZBo should have been double teamed defensively and you live and die by the three since they are not a good three point shooting team. They will have a few games like this early in the season, after February this would be inexcusable.

The problem around here is that folks have an agenda and can not talk truth.

Chase was 4-9 and was decent in the opportunties he got, in fact Chandler whom everyone is raving about was 5-9...and scored 2 more points....in mostly garbage time.

Chase did not rebound or do any assisting, but he played a decent game, his role has changed, they don't run the same offensive sets, he does not get the rock as much right now...he is about the 5th option out of the starters....

Not sure what people expect when he plays 17 minutes and shoots about 6 times a game.

I guess you could excuse him when he is not taking minutes away from other players.....I fully expect him to average 12-15 points a game 5 rbs 4 assists....steals and ....the one block here and there.....this is not too much to ask for.....He did it his rookie and sophomore season
He is just not willing to take responsibility because now he is one of the veterans....or the older players. He is not a rookie any more....so I can't send him to the D-league.

    This.

I am a Morris fan, but between the two of them, Parsons is assimilating to the game NBA much faster than Morris. Morris still has the "deer in the headlights" look. Hopefully he will figure it out soon.

How the hell is he going to get those numbers with 6 shots a game and playing 18 minutes?

    I mean honestly.......

Damn I want Hill to do well but I just don't see anything... He's basically clueless and he's not a good enough athlete/doesn't have the skills to make up for it. Dalembert needs to play more or less the whole game IMO until we can find a decent backup (I don't think Hill is even that)

I give him credit this time he actually tried to shoot but he just wasn't good on offense and defensively there is nothing to talk about. He is what he is.

Like I mentioned, the Grizzlies were a desperate team in search of their first win. They were a blown lead away from being in the WCF Finals last season.

I'll be more than happy with 2 out of 3. Let's get it tomorrow night!

This should be our starting line-up ASAP:

    Dalembert
    Scola
    Lee
    Martin
    Lowry

I am not talking this game only.........Recall the previous two games.......1 for 5, and 1 for 3....... You take shots if you are confident.....He just isn't confident.
If you can't bring it defensively to cover for Martin, then at least bring it on offense.

This is just silly you play the role the coach gives you, if it is to shoot the ball, you shoot it, if it is to play the glue guy, you play it.

Chase is not a primary scorer, he is a little better offensive version of Shane Battier....nothing more.
