Budinger is a backup. Flynn & T-Will need to be traded or waived. Time for Dragic, Parsons, & Morris to get consistent minutes.
Has anyone seen Marcus Morris actually make a 3? All I've seen him do is spot up for brick after brick from the perimeter. Post up, take it to the rack.. Something, anything
How to fix the Rockets -Dally belongs in the starting 5. He sets the tone for the defense in the middle. -Chase belongs on the bench. We can't afford the luxury of having him suck it up any longer. -Start Lee (or TWil if you really want to mix it up, not that he's deserved it) That should get us off to a decent start. With the way Lowry and Martin were shooting, we should've been up in double digits if not for Hill and Chase's horrible play.
btw guys.. DONT blame this loss on Flynn. It's not his fault. We didnt lose because of Flynn. Just stop it. Besides he's our 3rd string PG.
Very pathetic game. Team needs to hit the glass harder. The fouls were ridiculously one sided though, stop reaching and get under control when you drive to the basket. A few of them were bad calls, but not enough to make a difference. Chase needs to either get into the game or get on to the bench. I would rather have Lee in at this point, makes us better defensively and gives us another person to handle the ball. Hill? He is looking so trashy this season I literally want to puke. Please Please Please can Dalembert start? I would rather see Thabeet start than Hill, he just looks confused and inactive. We are obviously capable of putting together a good game, as we saw last night. Our main concern, imo, is the rebounding. Too many second chance points. Also Zbo killed us to start the game, it's games like these where you wish we had chuck to guard the star 4. Glad to see Patterson back, didn't look good, but we all know he hasn't been playing since his surgery. Is it me or has goran looked worse than last year? He doesn't seem to be making any plays, just dribbling around or driving uncontrollably. Flynn is doing the same thing. Scola could not get position on Gasol to save his life, but Gasol is a good player so it's not that surprising. I would like to see more of Marcus Morris and less of Chandler Parsons. Also I am disappointed thus far with Terrence Williams, he has not been able to do much at all on the court. Next game may not be much better as we'll be playing another high powered offense with an early tip. We need some practices. Not all that worried, just frustrated at our lack of hustle from a lot of our guys tonight.
1. We need someone who can score from the post. Someone who we can dump the ball down low and draw double-teams. 2. We need a wing who can break down the defense and score mostly from attacking the rim, not jump shots outside the paint. 3. We need a perimeter glue guy.
Tanking proceeding as expected. Morey makes tanking not-so-obvious to Les by saying all the right things and making all the right moves but hiring McHale as head coach.

The NBA.com standings are messed up With that being said, we coudn't defend, coudn't do anything....shot was off mostly.........ZBO and Marc were on fire.....and everyone on their roster too. Lowry 15 and 8 near double double Kevin 21 pts were the best Good game Chandler! Everyone else meh.............
Seriously (and I wonder if I'm alone in this): Is it just me or do these games come off as preseason games? A lot of routs, and low mins for starters. Not excusing the 2 Ls, but it feels that way....
We need another defensive center. Jordan Hill is too inconsistent. What's worse it seems when he gets frustrated, even his effort stops. We should have tried to stop one guy. Either stop the bigs or stop Gay/Mayo. Our defense should have focused on one or the either.
This McHale coached offense will be painful to watch. I switched channels very early to the Timberwolves game. Puppies almost took the Heat to overtime.
Exactly as I had thought. Inconsistent like last year. Good game followed by bad games. They are around what everyone felt. 500 team or a little better if they get lucky or hot. Not a serious contender though.
You expect dramatically better things from this team? They are the most the inexperienced guys in the league.
