Don't be a smartass, no one says be happy. You idiots do this everytime we lose, its pretty damn annoying. Even when we win, you same guys find a way to whine about anything.

Yeah man. After games like this, the board turns into worse trash than the espn boards.

I forgot we are not allowed to complain! Who cares if we lost to a 5-15 team? If you complain you are a dumb ass!

I have followed the rockets long enough to be pissed when ever i feel like it, been making up excuses for most of the losses but when the Rockets with the team they've got now loses to teams like the ****ing Pacers and Griz i am not allowed to complain? GTFO

you've posted this "shameful" shiit like a zillion times now. tell me why it is so shameful when we only had about 8.5 players who can suit up and lost to a very athletic team in their house? how many years have you watched nba?

it's not a knock on anyone, but sometimes i really feel shameful for a lot of rockets fans. just look at each game thread.

I dont know why so many ppl are upset about this loss.

I dont think we are a better team than grizzlies without t-mac and ron. we will probably have a worse record than them.

Oh, and please eat the Head!!

Maybe because they are a lottery team that is 5-15 with their bigs being Darko, a rookie and Warrick?

i think differently. we let a team that had avg'd ~93 pts score 109pts, while we had allowed ~91pts coming in to the game. so the problem to me is more at the defense side. remember, we did score 97pts with 6 players in double figures.

Not whining, telling it like it is. You guys know that Memphis is no easy task for Houston, as many other teams.

By far the most fustrating game of the year. Man, how could we lose to Memphis? We need to take that second spot on the west and if we lose games like this, we really wont be able to take it.

Yao was HORRIBLE. Offensively, he was effective with the ball in his hands, but the problem was that he hardely got the ball. Memphis players were fronting him and we couldnt pass him the ball. We gotta do something for that. That happened also against Indiana and we lost. Adelman has to find a solution for that. Also, he really couldnt take rebounds. He is 7ft6 and took only 4 rebounds. There s no excuse for that.

Luther was TERRIBLE. He played 24 minutes, 2 points, 1 assist, 1 of 8 from the field and we were -27 when he was on the court. With Artest back, I really hope that he doesnt play anymore. At most, he has to play 5-7 minutes.

Chuck Hayes was another guy that we should blame for the lost. He played 10 minutes and commited 5 fouls. He also got killed by Hakeem Warricks. Offensively, he is zero and tonight, defensively, he was also zero. So, that a bad news. Hope that he picks up.

Battier wasnt that good too. He didnt step up offensively. We didnt have T-Mac and Artest. Battier had to post more and hit more 3s, but he didnt do it. Also, his defense really wasnt impressive. Gay scored easily against him.

On the good side, Scola, Alston and Brooks played well. Thank god we had Scola to take rebounds. Alston continued his good play and Brooks was just okay.

Overall, the defense was horrible. We couldnt stop the Grizzlies. They are one of the worst offensive team in the NBA and we couldnt do anything against them.

    A very disappointing game!!!

I am really excited to see who is going to rest tomorrow!!! This year, we have our players resting a lot and each time, they rest we lose the game. T-Mac did it vs Indiana and we lost, Battier vs Denver and we lost and now Artest.

Yao was playing like had cement in his shoes. Just awful. Nearly 3 quarters to get his first rebound....at 7'6"....WTF!?

Wafer had some nice plays tonight, the only highlight of an embarrassing game.

The offense seems to move so much smoother when Yao isn't clogging up the lanes....not using him correctly or something.

One of the most annoying things is seeing a guy run around Yao for the layup off the backboard. Man I wish Yao was a little quicker.

I think it's time to some one put a foot on adelman a.s.s - if he think he will have a 22 game winstreak again to safe his a.s.s he's wrong

We lost the game the moment Head came in during the 3rd qtr. Yao playing like wet charmin early on didn't help any either.

they do have two guys over 7 feet, both with bulks. as poorly as yao played, he was responsible for most of darko's 5 fouls (and the torn jersey) and marc gasol's 4. warrick scored his pts mainly off of hayes and scola.

and 5-15 doesn't mean squad for any given night. what was the warriors' record when they played us a few nights ago? yet we were not able to pull off until very late in the game. if you're a seasoned fan, you'd have known better.

Yao was exceptionally slow tonight. It frustrates me to no end to see him get schooled by inferior players. He should be dominating them. How the hell does he abuse Howard, but get schooled by Milicic and Gasol? Those are the exact type of players he supposedly excels against.

    5 rebounds for Darko
    10 rebounds for Gasol
    8 rebounds for Warwick
    5 rebounds for Landry
    14 rebounds for Scola
    3 rebounds for Hayes
    4 rebounds for Yao

Thankfully Hayes only played 8 minutes or 7'6'' Yao would have been out rebounded by all post players
