I don't blame this loss on Yao, but his passiveness, lack of killer instinct and lack of motivation is partly to blame. This could all attribute to the team new direction or playing reserved for fear of injury.
We got beat by the scrubby second team, when we got it down to a 2 point game their scrubs took over....At some point we have to see what steve can do especially in a game like this i think!
I dont wanna be mad and blame someone for this, cause its only 1 person's fault and thats the basketball gods because Artest and T-Mac didnt play. We would have easily won, but the Grizzlies played perfect and we didnt.
Adelman is the easy target... If Yao, Ron and Tracy were injured. If Jesus Christ came down and played for the other team. If he were coaching the Washington Generals. ...We would still find a way to blame him. But with that said...he did leave Luther in there for too long, had Hayes clearly exposed in isolation against Hakim Warrick, who was way too quick for him and rolled out possibly the worst lineup possible right when the Rockets were looking to make a run in the late 3rd (Head/Brooks/Hayes/Landry/Rafer)
Memphis have beenidentified as a bogey team for the Rockets by Morey & Adelman. I'll notch this one down to injuries.
No ron and tmac. This was an expected loss. Only positive tonight was yao, but rockets didn't give him the ball enough. Even the grizz announcers said they could pass yao the ball from where they were sitting. Same old rockets.
Post the whole stats including points and FG%? you will find His stats and Gasol balanced out. It also helps playing at home.
