when we were losing by 8, we just stop moving the ball and it was just iso plays from that on. why? its just not effective

I don't know if he is done, but he has fallen down a great deal. He couldn't play well after the Suns game last year and has had surgery done for a severe quadriceps injury which takes months to recover from. I know it's hard for a lot of people to accept that, but that's what it seems like.

Its because we weren't home for him to hear the chants "We Want Steve!!!" so that way he could shoot better. If he is ok i look for him 2 bounce back our next game. which is at home

i would excuse shane for tonight's game b/c it's a b2b. it's obvious he's still recovering. he was literally useless out there and when healthy, shane at least can tap on his defense. he will be fine.

and tracy will be fine too. he got to the line the most out of any player so his effort was there. he just needs conditioning to regain his offensive rhythm.

again, we're inconsistent b/c we have different lineups every game with different rotations.

let's just try to get through this month, get everyone back, then judge this team.

stop saying we're great after a win, and bad after a loss. you can't judge this team just yet.

    agreed!

Well said. I think there is a night you got a scrub jumped out of the box. He just shocked me and I think everyone else feel in the same.

I don't agree we didn't play with effort.

Basically we lost two stretch in the game. The 3rd qtr when they had 3 steals in a row scored 6 pts to take the lead, and 9 min mark when they opened up while we failed to catch up.

Things just didn't go our ways, and we didn't execute well.

I think the effort is there, but we just need to be more careful about our shots and make some shots.

We didn't board well, because the Clippers were a step quicker. That is concerning, and needs to be fixed by getting some bigs.

Let's just focus on Denver, we could have won this game (Turnovers, shots hitting the front of the rim, no momentum) It will come in time

I just need to see one more time. Steve's done a lot for this Franchise through the bad days, just give him some Head minutes to Steve. I don't see how that could be worse.

I've heard of hamstring contusions and all, but an eye contusion? Ouch. Sounds painful. Poor Yao.

No ball movement and missed shots on offense and lousy defense....how could we lose with effort like that?

When Landry is going off this team usually does good. Landry didn't have a big spurt like he did last game and the bench did nothing.

T-mac played pretty good in the 1st half, but struggled in the 2nd half.

    Yao played good tonight.

Randolph was just hot tonight, it happens.

We gotta do a better job of getting defensive rebounds though.

we gotta get bigs (or deke). our rebounding is pathetic and that's why we're so inconsistent.

When down by 8 or 9 the whole 4th it is hard to just dump it into Yao every possession, plus he didn't even play the whole 4th qt. This was just a bad game, every team has those.

The last embarrassing game like this was that Memphis game just a couple games back. The Rockets then really responded well after that game and just last night played some great basketball against the Warriors. I guess the Rockets got a little complacent with how they were playing, and so let tonight's game get away from them. The team missed OPEN layups, OPEN threes, and let rebounds simply slip out of their hands. That shows where their mentality was tonight. They felt like they could just cruise to victory. This is serious problem for the Rockets. After establishing some type of rhythm, they need to stop playing down to the "bad" teams every three to four games. THE ROCKETS NEED TO STOP GOING IN THESE CYCLES.

Rafer Suckks. Seriously, how many times do you see him do a one man fast break and chuck up a heat check that never ever goes in? Adleman needs to Reign him in.
We should get Andre Miller if we can. Tmac and Rafer for Andre and Dalembert
