Yao played like 3 mins in the first 3 quaters, somehow Cavs' "all star canter" still manage to get himself fouled out in the 4th...

Officiating in this game was a joke. They called non-existent fouls on Yao, forcing him to sit on the bench. They in the 4th quarter, they gave Yao FTs? Tried to award Yao sitting quietly on the bench? Refs, why not just let big man play the whole game.

Yes the Rockets win good game by Tmac with 23 and 8 assists nice victory Shane Battier had some great defensive plays on LeBron stopping him to only 13 points, Yao was a monster tonight with his 40 minutes No stopping us now

Whoever told Yao to start taking charges needs to be shot. The dude is 7'6".....come on now!

Sad to see him blocked by lebron there, and it was a beautiful block. :(

The team made a nice run to get back into the game, but then choked it up in the final minutes. Shane with those two misses which were WIDE open from three pt land.

Sometimes I wish Yao would drink a red bull, and grow some wings.

    1. Refs don't want a loss at Cav's home, takes out Yao.
    2. T-Mac didn't come to play... exhausted, probably because of the 4 games in 5 nights agenda.
    3. Battier didn't do much to stop those shooters.

If Yao was in the game the whole time, the ending would have been different.

    Reasons why we lost:

    1) Refs. Kept Yao out for 3 quarters of the game. Once they let Yao play in the 4th quarter we made a furious comeback but ran out of gas at the end.

    2) T-mac and Battier. Both of them are probably not 100% recovered from their injuries. Fatigue from playing 4th game in 5 nights, etc. I'm not hating on them like some other posters but you certainly have to shoulder some blame on these two for their lack of offensive production.

But overall I'm very proud of how they kept the game close and didn't give up when the Cavs got a double digit lead. The team showed some heart and toughness tonight. Keep doing that and Rockets will definitely go far this season.

schedule hurt us a bit in that we still have a couple guys not healthy enough to be effective in a 4th game in 5 nights(battier and mcgrady) but even with that does anyone really think we lose if yao is allowed to play most of the game?

the cavs are extremely overrated, anyone who thinks they're the better team based on this game and the factual circumstances, is an idiot.

With the exception of T-Mac and Battier, I was real proud of the Rockets and the effort they gave tonight. They had to play in a hostile environment against the Cavs AND refs, but still played well and persevered. An especially good game by Rafer. Yao gets beat up the whole game and the refs just watch, but gets called for all kinds of ticky tack fouls himself.

I can't wait to see all you haters hop on T-Mac's shlong when he's back.

We would have won this game if the refs didn't screw us over. Good thing about this game is that when Yao turns the switch on, he's unstoppable. Remember this is also our 4th game in 5 nights! I think Cleveland had 2 nights off until they played us. Most of you guys even said we would go 3-1 on this 4 game stretch. ROCKETS WILL BE FINE! We may have lost, but I am still excited to close out December 12-3.

    Refs won.
I only watched the last 2 qtrs and there were at least 5 possessions where Z pushed Yao using both arms when Yao was backing down --- not a single call.

Because then it would be fair, and we can't have any of that.
