Man this is the most frustrating thing to watch, I bet if rose would have made those shots that lowry made, they wouldn't have even checked the replay  this is why we need an allstar player who can get calls, ****ing refs.. I'm also tired of hearing we don't have Tao,brooks, budinger blah blah. . It's not like adelman would know what to do anyway. . Morey please trade some role players for a true star!!!

If Yao does not get going this season will it or should it be his last in H-Town?I for one hope Yao gets going and leads the team deep into the playoffs. I will keep the faith no matter what.

Why cant they play Jordan Hill as a pf? Stop freaking using Chuck Hayes as a "low post presence".

Tough loss. Lowry played great but he was running on fumes by the end.

With Martin not having a good game (he looked under the weather from the start), and both Bud and Brooks out, the Rockets really had no consistent offense from the perimeter. Adelman was forced to use Miller in the high post probably more than he wanted, just so he could have an extra jump shooter out there.

The lack of any contribution from the second unit guys was the death knell. We should have had a comfortable lead going into the second half, and by extension the third quarter, but instead we were behind. And this team is not built to come from behind.

If Aaron Brooks was in the lineup tonight we would have won. And where was the great initiating of our offense in the 4th quarter when we allowed an 8 point lead to turn into a deficit? Lowry's inability to shoot hurts the offense way more than anybody thinks!!!!

The Refs, although got the Lowry calls right, did kind of screw us. They went back like 5 plays to look at that Lowry three pointer when everyone had forgotten about it, they wouldn't even look at the what should have been an 8 second violation. In the 3rd quarter Lowry was called with a charge on a fantastic what should have been and-1 shot, which was clearly a foul on the defense. They wouldn't even blow the whistle at the end and Lee clearly shoved D. Rose, AND then he also traveled. And while all of this was happening, we were called for any contact we made with a bulls player every time, (besides the last play of course, when we wanted to foul.) I honestly think the league should look into this game, I won't go as far to say that they were actually against us, but the league should look at this at the very least.

Aside from all this, we need to stop playing these terrible 4th quarters, and RA needs to stop making these ridiculous coaching decisions. (keeping Lee in at the end, waiting till the bulls score 18 straight to call a timeout)

One more thing, I hope you guys realize how much Aaron Brooks means to this team now, he brings the scoring threat when Martin goes cold. And he can really help us by creating his own shot in crunch time when we cant move the ball around for *****. He is our focal point, and we need him in order to win.

It was a 50-50 game at the end, luck determined the outcome as far as the last few minutes go.

However, what really lost the Rockets the game were the runs the Rockets allowed during the 2nd qtr and the start of the 4th-- both happened when the team rested a few regulars (Scola and Battier particularly, as I recall). There's a reason why Scola was +23 in the game and Courtney Lee was -22.

This team has offensive talent but need to learn how to deal with a good defense like the Bulls' when they turn up the intensity.

Oh so this Morey built team that has soooo much depth can't handle the Bulls... why even attempt to beat the Lakers or OKC then? Boy i tell you this team is a roster full of you know what!

    Yes...yes...and yes.

Our Franchise player is no longer a franchise player, most teams when they discover this begin to rebuild.

As ridiculous as that sounds, I agree with you about D. Rose. I don't think they would go back like 5 plays when it is over and done with to overturn a miraculous shot by Rose.

I wish somebody would pull up KM 4th quarter statistical numbers.......

This man performs better than David Copperfield in the 4th. When he does score points, its during junk periods.

Good post. The bench had no fire tonight and this would have been a good time for Brooks, if healthy, to come out of the bench firing. He is important to the team right now, but as a 6th man off the bench.

Lowry is not good as a starter either but his defense and capability to running the offense for the starters is way better than Brooks. I hope Ish gets his experience quickly so that he can provide more help.

I'm in the minority, b/c i think the refs were human, but fair. We didn't lose this game b/c of the officiating; we lost b/c we're not as good as the Bulls. Rick coached fine, as well. He played the players that were performing the best. Personally, I would've liked to see JTaylor, but I guess that won't ever happen.

After this game, I'm more convinced than ever that K-Mart is expendable.

Trade away AB, Martin, Jeffries, and Battier/Hill if necessary. Bring in a superstar SF + legit PG.

    PG ___/Lowry/Ish
    SG Lee/Budinger
    SF ____/Battier/Taylor
    PF Scola/Hill/PPat
    C Yao/Miller/Hayes

    WHAT?

Did you see that outstanding offense in the 4th quarter with all those starters and Lowry at the point?

    Come on get real.

AB is better than Kyle by a long long way.

He may not be perfect but he is a 30mpg NBA starting PG, Kyle is a 20mpg backup hustle guy.

    End of story.

I agree that was a bad decision because as long as you play good d-fence at that moment, you are likely to get a stop, and have a chance to tie the game with a three pointer and 8 seconds remaining, rather than fall behind 2 possessions by fouling and having the opponent hit their free throws.

Rockets need to drastically reduce turnovers in their games and be More Sharper with their Decisions on the Court.

The 4th quarter is arguably the most pivotal quarter in the NBA considering that if both teams are within striking distance of each other at the beginning of the last quarter, in some ways that final quarter becomes a brand new game. The Rox have been least impressive in one of the Most Important Quarters

First off, some of you guys need to learn the rules... When a close play like that happens, somebody at the replay booth signals to the refs that they are going to review it. During the next dead ball, the refs come over and look at it.

If that next dead ball happens on the next possession, or if it happens 7 minutes from now... it doesn't matter. They still go back and review it.

Sadly, Worrell mentioned this during the game while they were reviewing it.

The refs handled both Lowry situations perfectly. They did absolutely nothing wrong... at all. Period. End of discussion.

Second, the Rockets had no answer for Derrick Rose. And it was a very unfortunate night tonight for them because the usual answer they could use on defense for Rose (Courtney Lee) was playing so horribly on offense that he had no business being on the floor.
