If the rockets have heart, this game was the definition of heart surgery. I believe we'll recover, and continue to display the fire to beat alot of teams.
Miller wasn't brought here to rebound, although 1 would have been nice, he was brought here to pass and score...he did both well. Lowry missed a free throw as well and RA had a brain fart.
All I can add is that, yeah, with Rose stuck on the sideline with about five or six seconds left in reg, it was a perfect opportunity to foul him and really make it difficult for them to get it back at the buzzer. Why we didn't foul will eat at me for a while.
Like Carl Herrera said. Grumpy Old Adelman doesn't understand that the 3-pointer is supposed to go INTO the basket, not OUT of the basket. Same with free throws. DUH!!!
2 things... 1.) EVERYONE WORK ON YOUR DAMN FREE THROWS!!!! 2.) I see fight in our guys..I see heart. Anyone see how pissed Brad Miller and Lee were at the end of the game? This loss was probably our best loss, cause I see these players realizing how good they CAN be IF they play with heart and passion. This game could be there motivation, all we need to do now is get back on track, Bulls are a really good team. Now it's time to take care of the easier teams and get that winning record back!
A Hero in one game and a Villian in the next. What about Lowry missing a freethrow? Why blame it on Miller freethrow?
This. Thank goodness for a POSITIVE post. Everyone spews out negativity on this board, and it is really, really annoying.
Kevin Martin is a 90% FT shooter yet Coach doesn't bring him in the game when all we need to do is shoot FTs? Umm does anyone here think Martin misses TWO FTs?
But he made four of those shots. That's 12 pts on only nine shots. And a couple of those attempts came as the shot clock was running down, so he had to put it up. I don't think Miller deserves any criticism at all for taking three point shots.
Adelman is a great coach and has won a lot of games blah blah blah...HE SHOULD HAVE FOULED NOAH OR ROSE OR THEIR MOM...JUST FOUL SOMEONE.
