I didn't get to see this game.

Sounds like it was a hard fought contest.

Both on 2nd night of back to back.

    Could have gone either way.

Rockets are showing some overall competitive improvement in my opinion.

By the scores alone, defense is still this teams biggest weakness.

bad loss, but we are definitely showing signs of improvement.

however, the defense remains a problem and that has to improve. if it doesn't ,we're going to hover below .500 or at best remain at .500 for the year.

Our defensive intensity i believe has improved. The problem is we didn't secure important rebounds in crunch time. What's the point of playing good D if you're going to give up the offensive rebound?
Why we lost = lack of rebounding.

You mean he went brain dead when he lunged at Noah?

I think he was trying to foul, but still trying to steal the ball. If you think about it, fouling a player who has his back to you isn't that easy. Can't really just push him from behind. If the push is soft, then it's ignored. If it's too hard, you risk a flagarant. You reach in to foul and that's what miller did. I don't think he can make it more obvious without it being excessive.

Always tooting your own horn, eh? Gets kinda old.

Perimeter defense and defensive rebounding killed us against the Bulls. Boozer was making jump shots..not taking it to the rim. Same goes with Rose and Korver.

The Yao and Deke combo is definitly missing but perimeter defense and defensive rebounding has been off as well.

I think our offensive rebounding is better than it has been but I think that is due to Adelman vs Van Gundy style.

Van Gundy pushed getting back on D and as a result they didn't get as many off. rebounds.

Rockets still seem undersized against a lot of teams right now even though we have improved in that area with the moves that Daryl has made, the bigs we have lack experience and are still learning the complicated system that Adelman runs.
