    wow. a lot of really negative ppl on here. We lost the game in the last 3:00s. it wasnt like we struggled all game. we blew a 17 point lead. just takes some adjusting and less tmacness from artest. i say ban tmac from every game from now on. he is a jinx on our team.

    pathetic performance, it was the signature 4th quarter rocket collapse

    now you guys see why I was saying im not gonna get excited over the win the cavs, and why im not gonna have faith in a team that loses to below .500 teams

    I hope all you guys from the other thread who used a 1 game sample of the cavs game who said "we're winning the championship this year" "we can beat all the elite teams" can come back to reality now :eek:

    That is tfure, SheMac, McLady, Ms. Estrogen, Ms. Uterus had the audacity to show his face in Chicago on the bench instead of in Htown. He knows better though.

    this one hurts so badly... :mad:

    haven't read the thread, but these are the things i can think of right now why we lost -

    #1. aaron's inability to run plays or penetrate when the pressure is on;
    #2. aaron's questionable defense against rose in the 4th;
    #3. yao can't get up against fronting;
    #4. ron's mcgrady-like decision-making and shooting contested long jumpers;
    #5. adelman's sub pattern - should've tried lowry earlier when aaron was struggling (and why not let hayes play to at least grab a couple of boards);
    #6. no leadership on the floor when the going got tough;
    #7. refs screwed us yet again;
    #8. mcgrady in sight and that's bad luck;
    #9. bad luck since the bulls all of the sudden couldn't miss;
    #10. the possession before the last - why shoot 3's? we were only down 2.

    i know some of these are valid, some are just me ranting. your thoughts...

    Rockets had as much trouble with fronting defenses with Rafer, 4th quarter collapses due to inability to pound the ball into Yao and resulting in last second prayers and turnovers did not start with Aaron Brooks. I thought it was JVG's stubborness in pounding the ball into Yao but Adelman seems to suffering the same uncreativity.

    I agree as well to some degree. There was many instances where he was open for a good window but the pass was never there. They are so damn anal about having to swing it to a certain area before they release a pass. The lack of imagination and coordination in the entry passes are so bewildering. I always advocated getting a PG that could develop a relationship like what Stockton and Malone had. That would definately help him.

    On the other hand Yao consistently lets his man twist him in all sorts of directions and on two plays I saw he got twisted so bad he was facing the basket. How the heck can u catch a post pass with your back to the passer???

    Yao has to read tape of Shaq sealing his man with his huge arms -in a legal manner- and learn from that. It is so lame to let a guy half your weight twist u around like a pretzel.

    50/50 BS.

    even when ron was hitting all those jumpers today. i was really glad they went in but i just didn't feel right about those shots. all those shots were him stopping the ball and dribbling too long and taking leaners and fadaways, pulling up just like tmac. what i was worried about at the beginning became a nightmare. dude needs to get back into the system and do what got us that streak in the first place. i don't know if it was poor coach or what but i'm sure adelman didn't call a play for ron to flick up those 3's at the end. if it's going to be like this, then i'm worried. we want team ball. it just doesn't look right with ron always stopping the ball and looking for his own shot.

    this was a terrible lost , at the end , Brooks tried to pass the ball to Yao , but Yao was being fronted , so the ball went to Artest and he was trying to make some 3's , but he failed . The rockets could lead 15 because him , but lost this game also because him .
    I just don't know why the headcoach couldn't find a solution to pass the ball to Yao after he called 3 time out . Terrible lost........

    STOP THE KNEE JERK REACTIONS!

    STOP THE KNEE JERK REACTIONS!

    Facts:

    Rose is a future hall of famer. The guy is like Lebron miniturized to fit the PG spot, he's got a crazy mix of strength, athleticism, hops, etc. Do not blame Brooks for being outplayed and shut down by a NUMBER ONE pick.

    What gives Yao problems? Quick players. And what gives him even more problems than that? TALL, quick players. Oh look, chicago has TWO of them! The bulls outrebounded houston, mainly because of this and that killed them as well. Would have been nice to have a big and young PF/C to throw out them huh, which is exactly why i mentioned in the other thread that Landry could be traded for one....(and no Landry wouldn't have gone toe to toe with those 2)

    face it, this is a bad matchup for Houston, that's it, and even then they had a17 point lead. Quit acting like its the end of the world, as if this team is on a downhillslide and this is the 10th loss in a row or something. They have given us more than expected already and some fo you "fans" can't ever be satisfied. Instead of focusing on Houston only, looks at this chicago team. They were underperforming big time the whole game, they have the talent to beat us and should have kept this game closer throughout. Before you declare choke city or start asking for Brooks to be waived or for ron to go away, wait and see how the team reacts after this TOUGH AND CLOSE loss.

    Ture, no need to get upset. However, we need to figure when teams front Yao our next moves. Please bring Yao out and start running the high PnR when teams start fronting. IF brooks can't finish then bring in Lowry, he will finish layups all night long.

    QFT. This loss sucked, but we'll move on. Just cheer as we crush the Wolves (and I'll be there)

    Yao was having a so-so game anyways... and really if they were going to go to him they should have the start of the 3 quater when Yao usually heats up...

    it was Scola and Artest who were having the hot hand games... they should have been able to score enough... without throwing the ball to Yao with a 17 point lead going into the 4th...

    heck Yao should have been sitting...

    as for the fronting Yao we need to do somthing... drive the ball screen..his player... pass to the opposite side.... something needs to be worked out and soon...
