some things never change. I would say that was an epic 4th quarter collapse except it happens all the time.
Another Rope a Dope and 4th quarter collapse. Let Yao get his touches in the first 3 quarters, Rockets feel comfortible Come 4th quarter, start fronting, Yao is absolutely denied, Rockets try desperately to get it into Yao, shot clock runs out, heave up a prayer or turn it over. Same story every year! If Yao is denied, forget about him, run another play! Yao is useless with fronting defense, just accept it and try new plays!
And before I leave for the night, I'm sure that the kneejerk reactions and threads are going to be out of control. You guys need to lighten up. It's only a game. You all will be back on the bandwagon in a day or two.
Eh, we're not going anywhere this season anyway. Rick is a terrible coach. Ron showed why he won't be resigned. Brooks showed why he can't be a starting PG. Lowry is a better PG.
Why didn't Adelman adjust and put in Lowry? Brooks is still only a 2nd year player, stupid turnovers, could not get an entry pass to Yao. Lowry would have better defended Rose. This loss can be blamed on the coach.
Reason why we lost 1. Playing Yao for the whole first and more. At one point, he doesn't have energy to grab any rebound. 2. Brooks can't play point. 3. Artest become frustrated and fell in love with his own 3s a bit too much, he sees no teammates out there.
i m so f**king disappointed... there comes the perfect solution of defending yao--fronting him...works every game huh???!!! why nobody feeds yao the ball in the 4th quarter... it is a huge problem...when the shots r falling they just simply do not even bother to feed the ball to yao...i noe yao defintely should yell to his teammates and demands the ball...but hes too nice a guy to yell at his teammates on the court... the difference between spurs and rox is the determination and ability to execute the game plan...sometimes, i dun even think rox has one...
Crap. I had a bad feeling starting from the middle of the quarter when the Rockets were just standing around and letting the Bulls get a ton of offensive rebounds, that's what allowed them to get going. Also, too bad Lowry got injured because he would have done better on both ends than Brooks against Rose. Lowry was shooting 4-5 when he got injured vs 2-9 for Brooks and he would have made it at least a little tougher on Rose defensively.
wow. i left midway through the 3rd to go to the gym thinking the game was over. and i see this. unbelievable. some things just do not change. we jacked up too many 3s tonight too.
