Sometimes Adelman seems like an addled man. They used Brad Miller to take Yao outside the paint, and let Rose bloom. Adelman has this worrisome tendency to not call TO, to not adjust, to just watch the game slip away and then call TO when we're finally down. If he would have recognized what Rose was doing, before he had done it all, he could have tried Shane and/or Ron on Rose-- it worked well against LBJ!-- but nooooooooo... Now poor Aaron won't be able to defecate normally for a week.

Wen we were up 17, Adelman should have gone to a defensive lineup that included Deke (for rebounding and blocked shots), and Hayes and/or Shane/Artest. Yao and Scola were tired and ineffective in the 4th.. Wafer should have become the main option on offense.

The Rockets take you high and bring you low. Hard to take. But, I agree with Clutch it was an entertaining loss until the fourth. The other team was boring, win or lose.

RA's rotation is stupid, to say the least. Hayes, Landry, Mutombo, and Cook combined for 0 minutes??? No wonder Yao and Scola would be tired. And this is only the first of 10 games in 15 days?

The Cook (Cook), the Thief (Hayes), and the Lover (Deke) definitely should have played last night, especially when we needed D and rebounds and fresh legs.

RA is no players' coach. A players' coach would have given the starters adequate rest, while giving the bench players opportunity to contribute. With his illogical rotation, RA is abusing some players while insulting others.
Letting players do what they like is no players' coach. It's called lack of discipline.

RA had that before. If I remembered correctly. Kings lost to Lakers in the post-season game when Kings leads by 15pt into 4th quarter. History always repeats itself.

The only one in this game that I can not blame is the refs. They are pretty generous to Rox.

This team has been losing the Van Gundy defense focus since just after the arrival of Adelman. Now half our players on the court weren't even here for those years of JVG beating repetitive, boring defense strategies and methods into the heads of the Rox.

The problem here was defense- any team should be able to hold a 17 pt lead with under 8 minutes to play- CF

    Exactly. Can not agree more.
That is why I am missing Alston here. Defeating fronting is not only passee's job, but also passer's job.

    It is really quite simple.

Ron left the reservation and the rest of the Indians failed to bring him back in line.

The team lost because of a lack of committment to the concept....

This is a new team finishing games, I think it was a good learning experience.

This is what happens when people's expectations sky rocketed with that win streak. People were saying "we can beat anybody in the playoffs." Newsflash, anybody can beat us as well. There's a reason why we're middle of the pack.

Everybody gets too high on the wins and gets too low on the losses.

No, this is what happens when teams lose focus of what makes them work.

They will learn from this and be better because of it.

why are people trying to search for someone to flame? Ron tells you right here who to flame:

“I take the blame for the loss,” Artest said. There were things I could have done to help us sustain the lead we had. I definitely take the blame

    :)

He just needs to learn to pass more in the crunch. I still love the way he plays, last nights 4q is one to go, especially that last play.

The reason why we lost last night

5:50 Ron Artest makes 19-foot jumper
4:43 Ron Artest misses 19-foot jumper
3:58 Ron Artest misses 26-foot three point jumper
    3:24 Ron Artest turnover
2:15 Ron Artest makes 26-foot three point jumper
1:25 Ron Artest misses 27-foot three point jumper
0:19 Ron Artest misses 26-foot three point jumper
0:14 Ron Artest misses 25-foot three point jumper
0:01 John Salmons blocks Ron Artest's 19-foot jumper

Ron Artest fell love with these jumpers. He didn't attack the rim at all. He forgot basketball is a five person's game.

All true, but AB has got to take the ball away from him there too, Ron went off the reservation, but the Indians need to reel him back in.

I think they learn from that loss and don't let it happen again.
