True... He needs to be sent down to the D-League ASAP. I think he still has an offensive game but he needs to find it.

This is true also. The reason why their offense became so effective is because they went to the low post and we had NO ANSWER, NONE. Bogut won the game for them with his post ups, his scoring, his dishes, and his offensive rebounding. We had NO ONE that could match up with him.

In retrospect, if we had Brooks last night, we may have won, simply because Milwaukee may have gotten suckered in to taking a bunch of outside shots, so essentially, Brooks and his bad defense and habit of cheating off his man into the paint area could potentially have helped us win by keeping the shots coming from the perimeter. Even though Milwaukee hit those shots at a high rate, it was all created off the old-fashioned "inside-out" game, going into the post and then coming back out and rotating the ball.

But the bottom line to all of it is, we are woefully lacking in interior defense, WOEFULLY LACKING. And even our improved perimeter defense with Lowry, Lee, and Battier stepping up, can do nothing about a dude getting off 20 shots in the low blocks on us, the vast majority of them being either dunks, layups, or little hooks, and also getting 7, count 'em 7, offensive rebounds to go along with his stellar post defense. Bogut killed us and we had no answer. He made Hill look like a little boy out there and he took our best post defender (Hayes) and squashed him. We needed a help defender in the paint and we needed alternate defensive strategy, such as the quick double when Bogut caught and turned, as was demonstrated on a possession or two when Jermaine doubled down on him when Bogut had his back turned.

Brooks, with his shooting, and his poor cheating defense, would undoubtedly have put us over the top last night.

Shooting is a key essential element of basketball. No team will ever win a championship without efficient shooting from the field, especially in a game where the officials let the contact go and aren't calling the fouls.

This is the most embarrassing loss by the Rockets in recent memory. A one armed Bogut single handedly beat up on all the Rockets-bigs and smalls. I think it is time to really look seriously and deeply at this team. They just don't have it. This is the game that, I think, is the defining moment for the team this season.

They are just not that good this year and I just don't see them making much improvement next year either. This team needs a total overhaul in both philosophy and talent. Unfortunately (for them), there is nobody in this organization (owner, coach, GM, scouting, towel boy) who has the remotest idea on just how to get that done.

This. Bud does nothing but hurt us on both ends of the floor and is showing no signs of coming out of it any time soon. These 5 guys have been playing solid minutes and deserve the PT over Chase.
