Our old stars were badly missed, now we are on the edge of sliding into 9th place in the West! Questions will be asked! :p

Brooks 3 of 14 21% Not good for our team leader
and Ariza 7-16 44% Not too bad for a role player :p

    Take nothing for granted.

Never quite bought into all the talk of an "easier" schedule ahead. Still need to bring it each time.

Gotta get a win back in Minny.

Sounds like a certain team in Houston will miss it's star player when he's officially shipped out

I hope this doesn't give Ariza or Adelman reassurance that he should be starting :(

Stephen Jackson always goes off on us.

    We lose

Gerald Wallace and Raymond Felton were on my fantasy team and they didn't do much.

    Lose lose for me :(

Games like this make me miss having a star guard.

Or a star big. You need to stars to win on the road. We can get it done at home but this team isn't constructed to win away from Houston.

Hopefully, Morey can work some of his magic soon.

stephen jackson got a very impressive play tonight.he could do everything on the court, there was no man in our lineup who can defend this guy.shane, trevor, chase, they were all beaten by captain jack.the question is why no double him.since jack was so hot during the 1st and 3rd quarter.you know when time went to cruch time, this guy was so confident and unstoppable.

my opinion is coach adelman needs more quick adjustment based on the situation on the court, double jackson ,block the pass to him, made him frustrated, just like what they did to landry.

lose for such a close game is heart-struck,we had made couple of such mistakes, and our away game sucks.hope we could win back next home game against t-wolves.

As the Rockets have solidified their reputation as one of the harder working teams, their opponents are less and less looking at the depleted lineup and getting caught off guard.

When opponents work as hard as the Rockets, talent and execution become the remaining key variables in determining the outcome of the game.

Yes, the Rockets can try to improve their execution, both offensively and defensively, but the problem is they will almost always end up losing the battle of talent. I define talent as both individual skills and natural gifts (size, athleticism, etc...).

The Rockets will not be able to outwork every team they play and there are less and less teams taking the Rockets lightly. That means our talent deficit is likely to continue being the deciding factor in a lot of games, especially when we face teams that are in the mix for the playoffs.

Am I missing something, are we trading Landry? Taking landry out was such a bad move. Once Shane came in, Landry was guarding Wallace while Jackson continued to run up his numbers. Why play Charlotte's game if that is what Rick was doing; instead run Hayes, Scola and Landry into the game.

I was also wondering if Landry is getting traded and they did not want him injured by accident. That combined with bringing Dorsey up?

They the management knew that they were not going to play T-mac this season so they brought Ariza in as a quick temporary band aid (cheap),but it is slipping off just like cheap band aids do!

I noticed that no one has even mentioned that the Bobcats are the best defensive team in the league, and have one of the top 3 best home records. You have to catch them on the road, that's where they are vulnerable. you have to think that they are bringing Dorsey back and putting him in uniform for the inside presence, he should be able to step up now. Can't wait to see him out on the court tonight, 1st TEAM ALL D-LEAGUE!!!!

Excellent snap analysis. This issue will be magnified 100x if the Rockets qualify for the postseason.

As DD has documented in his signature, Hard work beats talent, when talent does not work hard.

You are absolutely correct, Yetti. Let us hope the Rockets can prevent a free-fall until February 18th, when the Rockets hopefully acquire a concentration of talent.

This is when it looked like the Rockets were going to bust this one wide open. In a span of a minute and a half a very close game became one with the Rockets holding a 13-point lead. Kyle Lowry didn't score a single point during this 11-2 run, but he really did spark most of it.

And it was good to see Chase knock down some long balls... he really had not been good shooting the rock since coming back from the injury.
