Maybe Bullard or Worrell were wrong as to the reason. But it wouldn't be the first time a player asks out and for whatever reason doesn't get back in. Players quickly learn not to ask out because you may not get back in.

This was a pretty frustrating loss. Adelman could have been a little quicker to make adjustments, like doubling Captain Jack or changing up who was on the floor when it became clear that our offense wasn't clicking. I think part of the credit has to go to the Bobcats' defense, which has been one of the best in the league, but at the same time, to repeat what we've said so many times here, having Ariza and Battier on the floor is disastrous when everyone else isn't hitting. Brooks wasn't on tonight, and with Landry not playing the fourth, you could have seen this offensive collapse coming.

    Stephen Jackson played very tough....
Did we once have a chance to get him?
Stephen Jackson is far better than Ariza, right?

Should have went with Brooks/Lowry/Battier/Ariza/Scolandry for the 4th. Ariza should have moved to the 4 and we should have gone real small and ran their a.. out the gym.

Ariza and Brooks lost this game with their poor decision making and hesitation. Several drives Brooks gets in the lane and instead of getting the shot off, he drops it back out to the corner to a covered Battier/Ariza/Budinger, etc. Just plain terrible. We cannot win with Brooks barely hitting double digits. He's got to get into the high teens/low twenties for us to be effective. Ariza's efficiency, on the other hand, drops off a cliff the longer he holds the durn ball and dribbles anywhere besides a beeline for the rim.

The problem with Brooks and Ariza is that if they're not hitting their shots, the rest of their game suffers immensely. Of course, it happens with most players, but Brooks & Ariza basically shut down.

Yet if it were McGrady, everybody would be ready with pitchforks. I love this double-standard on Clutchfans, I really do.

Well we don't really know the facts, but if he did ask out of the game, I have my pitchfork ready...

because for the most part, Brooks isnt a lazy quitter. He just has limitations.
Tmac has the ability to play on Kobe's level but chooses to be a lazy quitter.
AB didn't turn his back on the organization and ... I don't have the energy anymore. If you really can't understand why ppl hate tmac on here then gtfo or stfu.

I just don't understand the coach, it almost seems like that when the organization gave him the extension, he's becoming more & more stuborn. I also think he needs to think about starting either Kyle or Chase and having either Battier or Ariza come off the bench ( I want Landry to be 6th man this season, so they can wait on him starting). I don't know what Adelman's deal is right now, but he needs to quit being so stuborn. He needs to be flexible.

Either way, it was a disappointing loss. Really.

I love Captian Jack but we should have doubled him more often. He absolutely abused Shane and Trevor.

Doesnt Jax always shoot alot against us since we're fro his hometown? I think he always forces it more against us, but tonight he was just hitting everything...just one of those nights...

and i thought a more important play was when trevor got stuck driving and kept pivoting one way and then another unable to get a shot off, by the time he passed the shot clock expired...

If we had a Scottie Pippen type player Stephen Jackson wouldnt have gotten a shot up.... Scottie Pippen of 2010 > Ariza

jackson is, but his contract is a killer and so is his attitude. Tonight he won the game for his team, other nights he's gonna lose it. Sounds like ariza, and itbasically is as far as his effect on the team. Jax only shoots slightly better than Ariza and get's about 5 more pts a game because he shoot about 3 more time than trevor, but he get 1 more TO a game than Ariza......Tonight he was just a guy jacking up shots like always, but against his hometown team it meant more than usual.

If the assumption that Landry was not let back in the game by Adelman only because Landry asked for a short breather, then does Adelman care about teaching Landry a lesson more than he cares about winning the game? We could've used him in the 4th quarter when we were struggling. Sure, he wasn't having his best game but he wasn't vs NY either but produced in crunch time.
