    What's up about Scola?
If his injury is still not recovered, we should let him have more rest!!!

I think rebounding had a big impact, maybe more than 3 pt shooting, they had like 20 more def rebounds...no one on our team got more than 5 TOTAL rebs...

    3's, Rebounding, yes sure.

The most glaring statistic to me though was the Scola-Landry combination of 4 for 18 from the floor, 9 rebounds, 6 turnovers.

Unacceptable to get that kind of production from your best low post options.

This is Aaron Brooks' team right now.

    Please take over AB.

You need to look for your own shots more often.

    Rebounds: 33:51
    Blocks: 12:2

We are just not as long as them. Hope next time we can beat them with our quickness like what happened in the fourth quarter!

    Bingo.

And Scola really needs less minutes at this point. I knew Yao's absence would mean less production, but he looks lost out there without Yao drawing his defender, so he can have his open 15 foot jumpers.

I dont know about that. If the team wants any chance of success, the post players need to do more. Aaron did what he should have. I dont want him to go crazy and take 20+ shots a game

This is just one guy. I am sure Scola and Landry will play much better. That is on of the best front courts in the NBA.

keep your expectation, man. i've never seen a team with a sum of payroll of all 5 (any combination) on the court in the teen's of millions be a playoff team.

i just try to learn to enjoy the bright spots here and there. and that's gonna be for the whole season. this is gonna be the year before we drafted yao, when sf3 didn't play.

portland is an extremely athletic team and they're long. against such teams, our disadvantage is at its worst.

i've never understood why morey went for ariza in the summer as our #1 new addition. to me, andersen and budinger are the 2 nicest additions so far.

We looked at our best we started attacking the rim instead of pointless and contested jumpshots.

We can take many postives from this game.

We hung in there when our front line should have been DOMINATED.

We did not back down with our backs against the wall

    We forced 26 turnovers.

We are without our top 3 scorers from last season!!

After looking lost for most of the game, the second unit looked much better at the end. A good first step to finding their identity. Give credit to the rookies Andersen and Budinger for overcoming their jitters and staying aggressive.

This could be a very long season. We look a lot like a lottery team right now.

We're not 0-1, we're leading 1-0 in the John Wall sweepstakes!
