I think Adelman should have put a small forward to guard Outlaw. I kept asking myself why he was not making this adjustment.

Just stay competitive to attract D-Wade that is all I care about.

yeah i know, i always thought he'd be ok defensively, but so many seem to knock him for his d, we need his scoring too much. I wouldn't mind giving him more looks. Let him jack it up as much as he wants when he's hitting.

We had them pretty flustered there in the fourth, but we need to keep that pace constant. Even on the defensive end, you could just sense the pressure from the smaller Rockets in the third/fourth. I was really impressed by that group on the floor there. IIRC, the second quarter was much slower and the defense was more reactionary than pushy.

I also liked how Brooks didn't keep trying for the 3 after realizing he was a little cold tonight. That's my biggest pet peeve with our team sometimes.

All in all, I enjoyed it.

but why Scola Battier Hayes were all out of the game at the end?

    Positives:
Brooks/Lowry combo on the court looked fantastic
Anderson was decent on offense and defense
Super aggresive Rockets getting to the line OFTEN
    Lot of heart and hustle
    Tons of forced turnovers
    Chuck Hayes was amazing
    Chase looked pretty solid

    Negatives:
Offense through wings and power forwards was atrocious
    Outrebounded like crazy
Too many open shots for the Blazers
Not enough open shots for the Rockets.

If we are going to be so aggressive, we need to shoot our FTs better.

The Rockets are a lot easier to watch when the expectations are low. This team can be a playoff team. It has a long way to go, but with Mcgrady coming back and Brooks emergence(Played a terrible game and quietly had 19 points). I like this team ALOT. This will be a great year.

i dont think portland performed exceptionaly well, so im real happy we made a run at the end.

but this team cannot play half court ball, they have to run on every possession or else they are screwed

By the way, I was impressed with Budinger and his defense. Of course he didn't lock Roy down, but he was decent.

Scola looked like a complete scrub. His game isn't suited for a Yao-less team.

I know alot of people didn't like Ariza's game or Brook's game tonight but I thought both played pretty well, especially Brooks.

    8-17 19 pts 5 dimes and 3 steals...not bad in my book
