Not at all, Hayes is very important.

I do have a little twist for ya though.

What is the object of the season once Yao went out? To win in the season, or in the lottery?

This one's on Jordan Hill and Brad Miller.

Miller killed all our momentum like he always do. He's too slow and old.

And you could pretty much see Hill just give up on the team out there.

To win in the season ... but as the losses mount priorities could very well shift to player development. I don't mind it too much, frankly, except for the fact that if that's the direction we take I think Adelman won't be back. That would be a shame.

We're two and a half games out of the playoffs and it's the middle of the season. Check back with me after January.

What are you guys seeing? Hill gave up on the team? He made a couple of bad plays, it happens to young players ALL THE TIME.

When Jordan Hill created a turnover in one of the final plays, he fumbled the ball around, and threw his hands in the air instead of going after the ball. That's what I saw.

No, it's mainly bc I can't stand Lakers fans, Kobe, or the franchise.

Do you mean when he got two offensive boards or got the rebound to setup the last 3 pointer? He was frustrated that he got fouled and nothing was called. He made some bad plays but he NEVER gave up on the team.

Budinger has been rolling for the past few games. Instead, Adelman chooses to insert Lee into the game who was 0 for 5 and on his way to 0 for 6.

How the hell can he score when he didn't have the ball?

And WTF are you just blaming the guy who scored 45 points on 17 shots for this loss? Over Rick Adelman for not putting the right players in? Jordan Hill for getting abused? Brad Miller for the tech and numerous lapses?

    Get Real

I just got done watching the game replay on TV and was at the game tonight. I think it hurt worse to see it at home than at the game. Martin's shooting was also much more impressive on TV. I miss having the commentary when I'm at the games.

I still don't understand with 13 seconds on the clock, down 3, why you would go for a 2?!?!?! Sure, no one was open. That's when you swing the ball around until someone is open!!

Rant: Doesn't the NBA making new shooting jerseys for every player in the league for each campaign (AIDs, Fit, Green) contradict the green campaign? It sounds a bit wasteful to me. Hideous shooting shirts by the way. I don't see how you could even sell those in a charity event afterwards. The more times I see the word "Fit," I will subconsciously decide that I need to be more fit. That is going to change my eating and workout habits. Thank you NBA! They try to promote Fit one night, but then on all the other nights we get bombarded with McDonalds family packs advertising. Contradiction?

I think Lowry had the right idea but should have recognized that Scola had been struggling all game. Down 1 with 10 seconds or so left and a timeout is not a terrible predicament to be in.

Either way, its ball game with a missed 2 or 3.

Yeah, Down 1 with 10 seconds or so left and a timeout isn't a terrible predicament to be in, especially if you have the ball! Which we did not. Which means that we'd have to foul, giving them 2 more free throws. Putting the Rockets back to down 3. They'd likely need a 3 pointer to tie the game later on anyways.
The Rockets ended the game, down three shooting a three pointer and missing, the same situation we were in at the 13 second mark yet we didn't take the 3 shot then. We got LUCKY that an 85% free throw shooter missed an big free throw. You can't count on that.

looks like this team is done this year, let those young guys develop.

to make you feel better, portland is going nowhere without roy, they will be stuck there way longer than us.

Brad Miller is the only centre we have. How sad is that? We have 4 other PFs and a tweener is JJ. Whats the use?

Yao has been getting injured year after year. Deke was great but he only played for 2 seasons and after that back to same problem. For too long Morey has ignored the obvious problem. Instead Morey has been masterbating over the statiscal efficiency of Martin.

Morey has had too much time to address this issue. If 6'6 Hayes is the best Morey can do, he needs to get fired.
