    Positives

Tmac is averaging 26 points 6 boards 7 assists on 45% in the last three games. despite playing on one knee.

Brooks is a shining light for us. i'm glad adelman let him stay in there during the OT.

Scola on offense is becoming clutch. right now i rather see scola shoot the ball then yao.

    Negatives

Yao. despite that last shot, he looks injured. he isnt anywhere near 100%. injuries are taking there toll on his body.

Artest. needs to start scoring. tonight he was missing easy layups left and right.

Tmacs defense. it's not really his fault all that much, but he can still extract a bit more effort on D.

i'm a little worried at this point. TMac coasts until the team is in deep trouble, Yao seems genuinely lost. Artest has to expend all his energy on defense and starts bricking.

The west is not chopped liver. I fear we may find ourselves in a hole we cant dig out of.

yes, we're in as deep as 15-17 last yr.

dude relax. everything can be solved right now if battier returns except for rebounding.

WE NEED TO SIGN DEKE ASAP and play him 10 minutes a game.

the worst part about this is that blazers is the easiest team we are gonna face for awhile...other than clippers..rockets HAVE to beat clippers cuz after that its just the lakers, phx, sa, and no...great...here comes the loosing streak!

Have to agree. I guess we see why Battier was just a stop up 3 point shooter and a defensive stopper. Its takes a lot of energy to play defense like that, and then produce offensively each night.

We need some size and rebounding upfront though

Tmac played a great game but definitely slacked on the last possession.

Good points all around, especiallly regarding Artest and how he was used in Sacramento and how he's being used here. It does seem that logging heavy mins and guarding the other team's best player all the times seems to be affecting his offense game. Hopefully, when Battier comes back this will change. Artest is a beast. I loved his play tonight, but I think he might be settling/falling in love with the jump shot too much like T-Mac. I thought he should've punished Roy down in the post on offense. They posted him up a few times on Roy and good things came out of it. Then for some reason, the team as a whole, went away from that and went to T-Mac and the pick and roll.

I think the Rockets need some more size and aggressiveness. I'd like to see Dorsey get some mins and Deke resigned so that the Rockets won't get outrebounded like this in the future.

On the bright side, another good game from Aaron Brooks. He essentially finished this game and played during the most crucial time periods. I hope he keeps it up.

I'm not too worried. I just want the Rockets to be healthy, but I still think Rafer is this team's weakest link.

Keep in Mind that clippers are 0-5 for the season, so expect fireworks tommorow. We could be loose all 5 games if we dont get it together fast

Although Tmac had a great last few games, i'm still really concerned about his lack of lateral quickness. He is so talented offensively, he can still dominate a game but the defensive end is a whole different story. Granted his defensive desires are sometimes lacking but when needed, he could always turn it on and play great D on the possessions that counted. Now there is no way in hell he can get around screens.

I'm not sure if he can ever recover his lateral quickness as he literally looks 4 steps slower than in 04 and 2 steps slower than the last few years.

This isn't going to get better soon and its going to take him at least another month or two to reach peak performance.

    oh ok, makes sense.

the last play though was just a collapse on defense.

i don't see why they didn't blanket roy and just make someone else shoot a long jumper. it makes no sense.

Did the Rocket's offense look a little static? I thought there was supposed to be more movement off the ball. Looked stagnant, more like everybody standing around waiting for someone to create their own shot.

I hope that there is more movement and the team has more confidence in that style of play even when it gets tight rather than falling back into a stagnant half court game.

I don't see the big deal... Our defense on that play was designed to prevent a short jumper or a lob to the basket.

Give Roy the same 32 foot shot and he hits it maybe 2 or 3 times out of 10.
Give credit where credit is due.

Yao 4-13 shooting. 6 boards in 41 minutes
    Artest 3-9

There is the reasons why we lost
