Hill lost his concentration during the game. I don't mind trading him for a high energy center(whether talented or not).

Maybe, just maybe, portland is better than us. 1-5, most gm's would take 4 of portlands 5. They missed alot games last year and still won 50 games. This year with roy being out, aldridge is really stepping up. Look at their 3,4,5 and look at the rockets. They played closer to their talent level and the rockets didnt. Its just 1 game, move on.

How can you not be ready to defend back door cuts when it's apart of your offense, unless the Rockets only practice the offense and not a whole lot of defense.

LOL underestimation much. Everyone was like "WIN, WIN, WIN" prior to the match. It still looks like we need more defense at the PF position. Scola is very good on offense with his scooping but it looks like he needs more work on the defense.

I think Camby is really trying to send us a message that we need to try to trade for him.

He was the leading passer for both teams in the game with 8 assists tonight. This board was calling him old (raises hand) and he had 20 rebounds the next game. He looks like he could play until 40 like Deke.

Portland should be on our personal vendetta hit list from now on (Denver handed us a loss earlier this season as well).

PP needs to start in place of hill...i know it's a small sample, but i think it's clear he's going to be consistent on defense and on the boards at the very least. 10 for him tonight in only 26 minutes. With hill you either get a solid game or not much. Start Pat Pat.

Totally agree, poor effort. AB looked horrible early on against Patty Mills. Martin shot as poorly as I've ever seen. I saw very little movement with the offense. Came out of halftime and just stunk it up. I could go on but I won't.

The team just lacked a lot of effort tonight. We really could of used Chuck to slow down LA a bit. Hope we can make up for this loss by beating Denver..

Hill was given an opportunity, but he was mentally checked out in his two starts. If Adelman yanks him from the starting lineup, he has only himself to blame.

yea basically we did the whole "play the first half only" gig tonight. its getting old.

anyways, glad to see Twill come in tonight. he looked happy. made a few good passes and a jump shot. P-pat looked good as well. he needs to get the dunk instead of just a foul with denial. brooks is SLOPPY. 2 turnovers in a row! J hill was beasting those rebounds.

Im going to the game on wednesday so hopefully we can redeem ourselves at Toyota. I hate the blazers

Eh, honestly I didn't really care about the match today. Without a proper C manning the middle we have no chance even if we reach the playoffs. More importantly, I think this game definitely should us a few things:

    1) Hill is the guy the Rockets want to trade. I guess PP was being kept in the doghouse to keep him away from prying eyes.

    2) Ditto with T-Will. C-bud was being showcased out there.

    3) Hopefully Yao's expiring contract, Hill and C-bud can net us somethig pretty good.

I couldn't help imagining Aldridge and Camby on the Rockets. With those two manning the frontcourt, Houston would be battling for homecourt advantage. Ah, well.

If Martin's knee continues to bother him, it's going to be a long, cold January.

Did you guys see how they were throwing up those alley oops like it was nothing? Rockets need a tall frontcourt and a major athleticism upgrade if we want to compete in the future.

I love how the Blazers play... they remind me of the Celtics. Pure unselfishness.

My elite teams in the NBA:

    1) Spurs
    2) Celtics
    3) Heat
    4) Surprise... Blazers
    5) Knicks (these guys also play like a team dedicated to plays)

OKC Thunder fails. They run with too much freedom.

Sigh, no one talkin bout how bad Kevin Martin is when his shots are not goin in. All he does is jackin up shots, and if they not fallin he's absolutely useless. Guy has no court-vision, always has that "shoot first" mentality even with the shotclock being 15+, not involvin his teammates. He was cold tonight, missed a fastbreak shot, rebounded it which resulted in a 3-1 situation for us, but instead of passing it he jacked up from midrange again, it's just terrible to see. Brooks and him are so useless on D, didn't suprise me to see Mills destroying AB, if you watched him play against European teams, it was the same. AB's and KMart's defense is too bad for the NBA, skilled guards will tear them apart.
