Daryl's not the coach. Coaches just want to win games, period.

    1. Since he became a starter, he's not as aggressive like last year when coming off the bench so his FTs are going to be low. He's looking to get the shooters, Scola and Martin, involved.
    2. How can his assists be high if neither Scola and Martin were hitting their shots? At least he didn't get scorched by the opposing PG like Brooks did. He also didn't turn the ball over as many times as Brooks did.

AB and Martin never pass the ball in the post to JHill. How many touches did he get tonight? He had some great defensive and offensive moves tonight, but he needs to work on not letting the other team box him out for the rebounds.

lol at the box score stats.

Aside from having less personal fouls we got beat in every phase of the game. Lower FG/3pt and FT percentage, less rebounds, lower assists, lower steals, lower blocked shots, and more turnovers. Holy ish

After watching Hill let the ball roll through his legs and out of bounds, I can understand why they don't want to pass to him.

Actually 2 times tonight Lowry did and JHill fumbled the ball. Hill was getting posterized on defense and couldn't handle the ball on offense. Hill was out of his element.

I was very disappointed with AB. It's hard to come back after an injury, but he put zero effort defensively tonight.

This is the problem I have with Hill though. He's fine when someone feeds him the ball where he can make his low post move or medium-range jumper, but besides that he doesn't seem very involved in the offense. (Could be why he gets at least one 3 second violation called on him per game.) On an offensive system dependent upon ball movement, this is a disadvantage.

It's less of a problem in the second unit because Miller is such a great passer.

Twill has good court vision, but doesn't have good shot selection. Put Twill/AB/Lee together on the court, it will become one on one basketball if things are not going Rocekts' way.

Posterized? I'd say out hustled. But Hill needs to play with Miller. They make a good duo.

I remember Adelman trying to matchup Hill with Nene last year and he got punked around like a little school kid. Even Hayes has some trouble with Nene. I can't wait to see what gonna happen next game.
