I had my big money keeper league draft last night. 10 team league, start 2 RB and 3 WR I won the championship in this league last year and had 3 keepers - Jamal Charles, Lesean McCoy, and Lagarrette Blount my team ended up being: QB: Drew Brees RB: Jamal Charles RB: Shady McCoy WR: Hakeem Nicks WR: Kenny ritt WR: Mike Sims-Walker TE: J'mike Finley K - Gostkowski Def - Lions B - Pierre Thomas B - Ryan Mathews B - Jonathan Stewart B - Robert Meachem B - Lagarette Blount B - Antonio Brown B - Cardinals Defense (plan to start them the first several weeks of the season) i'm weak at WR - but hoping that at least one of my bench RBs will have a good year and I can trade for another WR by October. B
also, there was like 3 or 4 who had been auto drafted. that couldnt have helped. for instance the last pick the dude didnt show up until like 7th round, had fallen asleep. think his first two picks from the auto draft were WR, think he got johnson and fitz not sure how mccoy wasnt selected by the computer on its way back to me in the 2nd round. auto pick will screw ya every time haha
I'm not a big Kenny Britt fan. I recognize the talent, but until the titans make a major philosophy change, he is going to be mediocre. I thought we had gotten away from fisher-ball when Bud let jeff go, but that ain't happening. Munchek looks like a poor-version of Jeff Fisher. I think you probably reached to get him. Also, in my humble opinion, Antonio Brown should not be drafted in a 10 team league. I almost feel for the Antonio Brown hype, but think about it. Do you really believe that Ben is going to elevate Brown over his boy Hines Ward? Essentially, you have Wallace and Ward and the rest of the receivers are going to get the scrapes that are left over. I like Mike Sims-Walker and I think he has a big opportunity with Sam, but so does Gibson and Lance on that team. Your biggest upside is probably Robert Meachem and he could save your team, but as I said before NO wide receivers are the bane of my existence. Which means look for lance moore to catch 5 passes on a broken leg and a td.
8 League Team- First year Standard Draft spot: 5 QB: Rivers, Freeman RB: CJ2K (fell to me), LeSean McCoy, Peyton Hillis, Felix Jones, M. Lynch WR: B.Llyod, R. Wayne, S.Moss, Plaxio, Sidney Rice TE: Owen Daniels D: Patriots K: Freely I feel like I'm weak at WR and TE for the time being. I'm not sure about Owen at the moment but I have some good options from player pool if he doesn't work out. Should I try to swing a trade for better WR?
I have a ton of teams. I'll post my big money league team where pretty much every RB that exists was drafted: 12 team league PPR (1.5 for TEs) QB: Stafford RB: Hillis RB: McFadden WR: Britt WR: Manningham RB/WR: J. Best RB/WR: Moreno TE: Keller K: D. Bailey DST: Cardinals Bench: Kolb Bench: Ricky Williams Bench: I. Redman Bench: S. Ridley Bench: Julio Jones Bench: J. Ford Bench: Decker Bench: Damian Williams Bench: Heath Miller
wow...so you have to set your lineups for the week, on a thursday. i subbed in some guys who were playing last night thinking i could replace them today or tomorrow for sunday...that not the case?
Hmm... 12 team, non-PPR: QB: Tony Romo RB: LeSean McCoy WR: Calvin Johnson, Mike Williams (TB) RB/WR: Shonn Greene TE: Jimmy Graham D/ST: Texans (I like to rotate matchups here, but I'm taking a flier on these guys to start -- I like the potential for sacks and turnovers) K: Sebastian Janikowski Bench: Anquan Boldin, Mike Tolbert, Aaron Hernandez, Sam Bradford, Greg Little
12 Team League: QB: Flacco RB: McFadden, Blount WR: A. Johnson, Mike Williams RB/WR: Pierre Garcon TE: Owen Daniels D/ST: Chargers K: Billy Cundif Bench: Brandon Jacobs, Ben Tate, Lee Evans, McGahee, Donald Driver, Deji Karim, Davone Bess. I was hoping to get Freeman or Big Ben but Flacco is serviceable. Really didn't like picking up Garcon but wasn't much available at that point. I do like my bench though. There's some good potential there if Tate and Karim get some action. Already swapped Garcon out for Bess this week.
I think I'd go with Hernandez. It is a lot safer play than Ben Tate is going to be in that sorted backfield in Houston. Hernandez is the known quantity.
Yeah, I have Hernandez starting and am 80% sure I will keep him in. Derrick Ward makes me wary of Tate, but I know who the better back is.
First Time Fantasy 8 Team League Non PPR QB: Mike Vick RB: LeSean McCoy RB: Jones-Drew RB/WR: L. Blount WR: Calvin Johnson WR: Vincent Jackson TE: Vernon Davis DST: Packers K: Neil Rackers BENCH QB: Matt Shaub RB: Ryan Matthews RB: Jonathan Stewart WR: Mike Williams (TB) WR: Julio Jones TE: Jimmy Graham D: Chiefs (just for WK 1 vs BUF) Is this any good?
Tied for the most points in my league in Week One. Not trying to be jerk or anything, but Ziggy why do you think that my team isn't solid?
Was a little concerned seeing Gronk get all the targets early while Tate's 17 points sat on my bench, but man did Hernandez destroy the Dolphins late in the game. He finished with 24 points which was good enough for me to lay the smackdown upon the Ziggeh.
