mekong river in downtown austin has the absolute most delicious tom yum soup. at other thai places i usually like it with shrimp but their tofu tom yum is just to die for. tart, spicy, lemongrassy garlicky goodness.

pho binh has the best banh mi i've tried so far. duy sandwiches for faux-meat banh mi.

i wish indian food photographed better. that's my absolute fave.

+1 It's the crust. As some people say, the Chicago pizza isn't a pizza - it's a pie. Old Neopolitan pizza from Italy isn't like that.
