We would have to do something like bad contracts for bad contracts:

Houston In: D'Angelo Russell / Ricky Rubio

    x

    Minnesota In: Wall / House
    _____________________________________________

Then move Russell and Rubio in other deals.
Although Rubio would be an expiring contract next season.

    Something like this

We aren’t looking to win games next season. We need one more tank season. I think Wall is perfect for this team next season. We just have to be patient.

I can see it. They are desperately trying to keep LaVine. I would take Christian Felicio in a sign and trade deal.

Wall for Cristiano Felicio (sign him to a 3 year 120 mil deal, final two years fully non-guaranteed) + 2025 CHI FRP

I think this the right play. Expect Wall to be the starting pg next season used in much the same way as this season. While I expect the team to be better they'll be a lottery team again. Then, in 22/23 you trade Wall to some team with buyer's remorse after the drunken sailor spending that'll happen in the summer of 22.

I just don’t see anyone taking Wall until the trade deadline next season, and that’s a long shot. More likely he is traded as an expiring in 2 years.

At this point I just don’t see a trade partner for Wall. Unfortunately i only see 3 viable scenarios:

1). move him at next yr’s trade deadline to a win-now team making a playoff push
2). move him in the 2022 offseason as an expiring to a team trying to unload salary; picking up assets
3). suck it up for 2 more years and hold him till his contract expires
