On NPR this morning they said that the Taliban have posted a message on a website claiming responsibility. They didn't have too many details though.
Anybody else concerned about the TSA's goof in letting this guy on the plane in the first place? They put you through these long lines for security screening, but they are unable detect explosives in this guy's pants.
I'm surprised no one is calling out the US Embassy in Nigeria. The idiot that has just effed things up for all Nigerians should never have received the Visa in the first place. His dad warned the authorities at the embassy a while back and no one took him seriously. That says a lot about embassy officials.

My son and I flew to NYC last month and they threw away our toothpaste because they were over the 3.2 oz limit but they left my son's pocket knife alone in his carry-on. Nice...
I was supposed korea, but at the last moment I had to cancel and asked them to take my luggage out. They told me they would take my luggage out because it was against faa regulations, but I don't think they did and it took a few days before getting my luggage back.
