I think we should all be very worried. I don't buy into any of this positive thinking. We thought we were a 50 win team and we lost to the lakers. That game smacked me right in the mouth. I am very worried. I don't think this system will work. Teams will just outscore us every game. Our offense seems good, but our defense is worse. And I don't know if this all things Harden to this EXTREME will get us there. I'm worried like the Poles after their first battle with the blitzkrieg.
KJ , James , Dekker , and Capela looked solid . Gordon and Anderson will probably shoot better , but I don't expect the rest of their games to change much . Nene had to have had an off night . I doubt he's that bad . If we can get bev back and get Dmo here and playing well we have a pretty good little team .
Bro I think wait for 10 games before re-assessing your season goals. Losing the first game away from home with a starter out provides almost no information to alter a season prediction. Are you re-thinking the Warriors ability to be a top contender just because they got their ass handed to them by SAS? Things don't work that way. Our defense was bad throughout, yes. But our offense was elite good for most of the game. Don't discount that offense. If your offense is top 3, then a middle of the pack defense will push you through 50. I'd also advise that 50 is a big number. I'm not sure why you're thinking 50 wins. This season is probably going to be a 41 to 45 win season imo. We lost whatever it is you consider Dwight Howard. Some of our core role players have aged. We're relying on young guys. On the positive side we seem to have better chemistry and an improved coaching staff. We picked up two good role players in Anderson and Gordon. We won 41 last year. Even if Dwight is a negative, there's not enough here to push us up to 50 I think. The overall talent on this team is not very good, we have one godly player and 14 above average to "mehhh" guys. I'm enjoying the games for what they are. It's a "figuring **** out" year. My expectation is we make the playoffs. We could end up as high as 4th seed in a perfect situation, but with us having to test and try new schemes, risky trades, transforming roles, shot in the dark signings and tolerating Brewer, we should expect a high level of inconsistency. Don't get too high and don't get too down about things, it's going to be bumpy for sure and 99.99% there won't be a miracle run that will shock everyone.
At least the Rockets did not lose to sorry ass Lakers. They only won 17 games last year and no Kobe. Oh wait they did lose to Lakers my bad.
