He probably thinks Larry Johnson and Zo are in their prime. :(

That's bad news both as a Rockets and Celtics fan. I hope they can manage to fill that void with what they've already got. It's a little late in free agency to find that kind of player. No names come to mind. Anyone left unsigned that's worth a damn? I guess Bonzi?

haha is Bonzi a free agent? He's become a forgotten man. I don't think he'll ever be able to get a contract like what he had in Sac.

$25MM? Wow! This is a great deal for Posey! Time to celebrate.

The Hornets need someone like him but he won't be the difference if they choke like in game 7 against the Spurs. On offense, Posey plays off of stars and when the stars (Chris Paul, Peja, David West) don't want the ball in crunch time, Posey can't create. If the Hornets grow up and play like men, Posey could put them over the top. At a minimum, his toughness and occasional dirty plays on defense will be a major help to that soft team.

You can say the Hornets overpaid but they need a guy like Posey on their team. What they need now is a tough-nosed starting SG.

well I wasn't going to mention sam's mistake but since it was pointed out, i always think charlotte, and they've been in NO for what, 5 years now. I can't make the move in my mind.

Building on their success from last year, a Rockets division rival just got better.

I have the very same problem. In my mind, the Bobcats still don't exist and the Hornets are still in Charlotte.

Just borrow Brent Barry's. He doesn't need it now that he's a Rocket.

Bad, bad news. The Rockets' success against them this year was heavily due to T-Mac's dominance against their SG's inferior D.

Really good pickup. Long, defend, tough and a big shot taker and maker. He makes shane vattier money without the lottery pick attached.

Wow guys. The Hornets have been gone from Charlotte so long that they were the New Orleans Hornets, then the OKC Hornets, almost became the OKC Hornets permanently, but are now the New Orleans Hornets again - AND the Charlotte Bobcats have existed for like four years.

I wish he had stayed in the east. This makes NO a little tougher but, so are we now. We got Dorsey to back up Rafer against Tyson Chandler, What up now punks?
Oh, and pass on Bonzi. What did he give up in Sacremento 30+ million hahahaha

It wasn't that big of a deal...i had the same problem probably until this past year when they were so good. You even hear people mess it up on TV sometimes.

It was funny to take a jab at SamFisher and make him feel like an old fogey. :p

Sounded like my dad who had a hard time remembering that the Hornets existed, don't even try mentionin' that Bobcats stuff.

im glad we have Morey - shrewdest GM in the business.

Looks like the summer of "overspend" is going on around him.

Guess Kobe will have both Shane and Posey guarding him for endless times.
