It also helps that their homecourt stadium isn't the equivalent of cheating, like Utah's. That goes a long way in getting respect from me.
I hope to not have to meet them again in future years. They'll be good. Unlike other here, I have more respect for Priz because of this series. He's not too shabby.
He has fairly quick feet for his size, but dude has no offense. With that crew, though, he really doesn't have to.
Can't get any classier than the trailblazers. What a job done by the GM to change this team's image to the one they have now, where it was once known as the jailblazers. Incredible talent, incredible hardworkers. Can almost see the blazers as the new-age celtics, except they didnt have to trade for it. Roy -- smart player that knows how to maneuver his body/speed/strength to beat more athletic/stronger opponents. (A faster but a bit less strong Paul Pierce). Aldridge -- Sweet 18 footer and plays great D on smaller players. (A less intense but still very good offensive player like Kevin Garnett) Fernandez -- sharpshooter, this guy should roll up to starting lineup, need to figure out a way to take over games like (Ray Allen) Portland is missing a Rondo and Kendrick Davis. Greg Oden made so many mistakes this series that I start to doubt whether he's even better than Davis. I hope Portland get some good players, would love to play Portland as Western finals every year. Nothing better than competiting with high-class, good hardworking team like the Portland Trailblazers.
IF Rockets had Roy, he would have carried Yao and T-Mac into the 2nd round in his rookie season. Truth.
when you look at the fights that have emerged in the celtics-bulls and hawks-heat series, you have to appreciate when nothing close to that occurs. probably the harshest back-and-forth between the teams was when their coaches complained about the refs, but that's nothing. good team, wish them the next to the best.
