I don't understand these threads. They aren't rumored deals. You are just throwing something random out there. Is it really fun for people? Just seems like a waste.

Accept it, its a horrible contract the dude is still good now but he's gonna be in his mid to late 30's by the time it expires. No deal that trade sucks. I'd rather stand pat like Morey & wait for some desperation offers for Tracy's contract.
There shouldn't be a trade sticky because different trade ideas warrant different discussions. It is confusing having several discussions happening in the one thread. Different trade idea = different thread. It makes sense because then that thread only has the same discussion meaning less confusion. Anyway, what's wrong with having these trade ideas come up. It gives us intereting discussions of why a trade would be good, or why the idea is totally stupid. There's nothing wrong with healthy debate, even if about stupid ideas. People need to learn how to come up with good trade ideas, and they can only do that with feedback from the more experience CFers. Not everyone knows how salaries work ok.
