Greene is a power forward, we still need height at the wing. This seems more like an insurance move in case Landry bolts (or we're forced to sign and trade him). He's a legit 6'10, but not built as solid as Landry or Hayes, but very mobile for his size. Interesting pick up, we'll see what happens when free agency opens up.
Morey says the Rockets are going to use him as a wing. He measured 6'8.25" without shoes and only 6'9" with shoes. He could measure 6'10" if he put on 2 inch pumps, but then he wouldn't be able to play in them shoes. ------------------------------------ “At the wing spot we need size, athleticism and shooting,” says Morey. “He has all those things. He’s got a good chance to really contribute over time. I do think he’ll potentially have a tough time getting on the floor early with the veteran group we have, but he’s at a spot where if he works and commits himself on both ends of the floor, he’s got a real chance to be a pretty special player.”
Too lazy to read every page to see if this has already been posted. arthur & CDR or dorsey, greene, and 09 second rounder from memphis. morey got more value with what he did than keeping arthur.
We never wanted CDR. Morey said he would not fit in our system, and I prefer to trust in Adelman and Morey over the fans in our BBS. We wanted Greene and they keep singing Dorsey's praises, so I like these picks.
