    Indeed. Let's compare teams.

Lakers: 2 finals appearance, 1 championship
    Rockets: .......... Not getting anything.

How can anyone even BEGIN to the Yao-less Rockets with the Lakers? What's next, you want to talk about how the Astros match up vs the Yankees?

When Lowry and Ariza come back it puts a whole new paint job on thing.

I think making the playoffs would be a reach to be honest.

Our best plan now is to play the young guys such as Hill & Budinger and pray that the ping-pong balls bounce in our favor.

We dont need to tank to develop players. Thats why we have summer league and D league.

Tanking is bad for Ticket sales. Bad tickets sales mean less Money Les is will to spend on draftday.

We just need to stay the course. The Spurs are going to collapse I can feel it.

Besides, tanking hurt severely the player's value, and that will hurt severely the capability of the Rockets to make good trades.

This is a group of 'never give up' guys. They will play hard til the end, you can count on that. If we make it great, if not, no big deal. Season will not be considered a failure. Nobody picked us to win over 30 games without Yao and T-Mac. We should be close to 50 by season's end. That is a major achievement for this team.

Before you go writing us off so soon, check out the spurs and thunder remaining schedules. Much tougher than ours is. We play both of those teams again this year so we can help ourselves close the gap on them.

For any playoffs hope I will say we will need Ariza and Lowry back in the rotation and healthy. We have to have our full rotation back. We just don't have enough firepower without those two guys. I'm not saying they are superstars by no means, but they are vital to OUR team.
