he's only 23 bro. it isn't like he's just playing for a contract. he has big time starter aspirations. he has all the tools to be a good wing player - athletic, long, quick, strong, can drive and finish at the rim. more importantly, he has developed an outside shot. nobody is saying he puts fear in them now. dude is only 23 and this is his first yr where a coach trusts him.
Nov. 11: Lakers 106 at Mavericks 99 Nov. 28: at Lakers 114, Mavericks 107 Mar. 15: at Lakers 107, Mavericks 100 Wow, Lakers won by 7 in each game against the Mavs.
Honestly... Ariza is the PERFECT replacement for Battier. He may ask for more than he's worth though.
That's why you want Magic to win?? Utah fans are the scum of the scum. dedicated yes but they define unclassy - Constantly yell racial slurs to the bench of the opposing team, screaming out *iggers every game. yelling racial slurs to yao for being chinese. - Covering up one eye whenever Derek Fisher plays against them because he was forced to move to LA for his daughters eye cancer care - Throwing food/bottles on the court whenever they lost to the Spurs in the playoffs - Cheering on flops, cussing at refs
It's just my opinion. Ariza strikes me as another guy who will slack once he signs a long-term contract. If he becomes a legitimate, above-average starter in the NBA, good for him. But I don't think he's improved much since coming into the league.
Whoa man! Maybe he didn't feel like being out there today after twice blowing the 3 OT game yesterday.
He didn't like an out of bounds call and it went on from there. We've all seen Sloan wound up but it was kinda ridiculous lasting 2 minutes into a game. What a cranky old man!
