Then there are the D-League pick ups. Morey said some of the players they got there could've been NBA draft picks.

Let a player go on game day impacts a team more than just sit him on the bench. That's why it doesn't make a lot sense to me.

Every scrub demands more PT. You are saying Pops demands PT to the point he gets cut. Hard to believe.

wafer had a history of being a hot head and having issues with PT, Pops, as far as i know, has nothing and doesnt even have that kind of attitude or personality. Its not the same thing.

that would depend on why the player was let go. If he was let go under bad terms, then letting him go would affect them more if they just kept him away from the team and dealt with it later. If you let him go under good terms and the roster knows it was best for both sides, they have no reason to dwell on it at all.

That doesn't explain why can't they wait until somebody else is signed unless Pops is asking for that.

Doubt it. Has Pops ever caused a problem on any team?

Can be a number of reasons to cut him now... maybe contract become guaranteed if he is not waived today, maybe they want to do him a favor and give him time to fine overseas employment (China?), maybe they want to try out some PGs but don't want to look like they are going behind Pops' back.

We both don't know Pos longer enough to think he can't ask for more PT.
It just doesn't make sense unless somebody is signed today. That's why it makes the whole thing suspisous.

i explained it earlier when i posted they sometimes do it as a favor for the player if they've determined he's not going to work out, not necessarily because he's not good enough, but because others are better and the position looks filled. In the NBA or even overseas, one day may be the difference between you getting the job or the team going with another player. So doing it now heps Pops if he has other options waiting.

What else would you expect him to write here? Why can't they keep such a great guy until something actually happens?

i dont know him personally, but i've heard and read about him before he came here and he's always been in similar situations, yet i've never heard him complain or a team complain about him.

Again, that deosn't make sense. If nobody fills the spot immediately, they could very well wait in case an injury happens to our bigs. He is better than Cook and Dorsey.

If a guard is signed today, you might be right. Otherwise, it's suspicous to say at least.

May not mean anything, but the Raptors cut Quincy Douby.

That's the only other movement I have seen.

    Hmmm.

    We cut a big man.

This is very odd. Sending Dorsey down and waiving Pops on the same day.

I have to believe that another move is imminent.
