yea, i think jack in the crack has one too but with breakfast food. Its the new trend in fast food. Just like the take the bun off of a chicken sandwich and wrap it in a tortilla trend. Why would anyone want to eat this crap?

That reminds me, this is the type of crap I would make in college w/ leftovers. Chuck everything into a bowl and microwave it.

Can't wait to do this with Thanksgiving leftovers. It's going to taste so much better and be better for you (b-hole included) than KFC/Popeyes etc.

While Popeye's will certainly accomplish your colon cleansing, Marco's is pretty darn greasy itself...

I'm staying away from greasy fast food and white bread from now until I get out from under this layer of extra padding, so I won't be reviewing this one. I try to just eat at home or at places like Jason's Deli or McAlisters where I spend more money to get whole grain sandwiches or salads.

If you could somehow combine all those ingredients into a bowl with the option to top it with hot sauce or sour cream, I would buy 2.

I concur, as being from Louisiana. Popeye's in Louisiana, and Popeye's in other states are TOTALLY different. I just can not enjoy Popeye's in other states.

Popeye's throughout Louisiana are GOLDEN tho, always ran right. And the food is always fresh.

Just had it. Not quite as awesome as the KFC Famous Bowl, but a good $4 mini-meal.

Tried one of these for lunch today. It was alright.

    My thoughts:

    1) Why in the hell is the sour cream even thought of with this? Seemed very out of place.

    2) The chicken wasn't fried, but still had Popeye's trademark flavor to it.

    3) Way too much cheese for my tastes.

    4) Not incredibly filling.

All in all, I'd say if you're in the mood for Popeye's, just get some chicken with a side of red beans and rice, but I was extremely impressed by the flavor of the chicken, considering it wasn't fried.

Popeye's needs to get some cajun-style non-fried chicken on the menu ASAP.

Agreed on the chicken, but I loved the cheese. Thought it was the best part.

I don't remember if I ever got your thoughts on the Sirloin Steak and Egg Burrito from JITB, Fatty. You should give it a try.
