I don't even know what size 8 means........if you look at someone and they are fat, they are fat. What is the big deal? Call it like you see it....I am fat..... But don't sugarcoat it.......lol - sugar....hehe... She has gained wait and is fat.....maybe not obese, but certainly pushing maximum density...you know....fat. That is obese. Look, I know it may not be PC to say someone is fat.....I just don't believe in hiding the truth..... We basically have the same metabolism as we had when we were living in caves and chasing around Mammoths for dinner but now, we eat processed sugars, foods and too many carbohydrates and don't run around on the savannah all day. And, we are fat as a society........if you are in shape, and trim, that is healthy, but please.....fat is fat.....it is what it is....regardless of whether people like to hear it or not. DD
I'm from Argentina and in my country they don't carry your size in the stores. True story. You would have to go to Brazil to get cloths.
Let me know if your wife thinks someone who is a size 8 (or show her a reasonable picture of Jessica Simpson) and see if she thinks that is fat.
Bobrek, I am not going to ask my wife anything, this is my opinion, she looks fat, those rolls of fat getting squished up are a sign, her arms getting that grandma largness is another sign. She has plumped up, does that make her obese......no....but to deny she is fat is silly. What do you think is making all those rolls? Is it......just extra skin? Maybe she grew a new organ? Dude, it is fat... DD
I am curious as to more female's perspectives. It is a shame that in this country we give young girls unreasonable expectations as to what is fat or not. Regardless of what you say or think, the word "Fat" has a negative connotation and if we tell young girls that someone who looks like Jessica Simpson is "fat" that is sending a very negative message.
It's not healthy to be the size of an average American female. It's not an unrealistic expectation to have women not be fat. Now, European runway model skinny, that's too far
Then ask your own wife. Telling the truth is never a bad thing, generally speaking girls in America are fat.......people should be admired for taking the time to be in shape. What is wrong with that? Too much wussification of America.... If you are fat, you know it......no matter what anyone says. DD
I'm fairly positive a doctor would say that Jessica Simpson is over her ideal weight and that she is now at an increased risk for a slew of health conditions. If that is indeed the case, I see nothing wrong with having a negative connotation about how Jessica looks right now.
The categories have remained relatively the same over the years Fit -> Average -> Fat* -> Obese She's Fat Fat always has its euphemisms and subcategories to it. Maybe not girl at the office fat. She can sneak in the myspace "Average" build category. But shes' celebrity fat for sure. Guys arent fooled by the stuff worn around the waste thing anymore. Soon as you see that, its identifable fat cover-up.
Alright, I'll go ahead and chime in that she's fat. Nothing wrong with extra meat, but she is fat. Look at the rolls, look at her face, look at her arms...they spell F-A-T. Some girls carry weight better than others. Some girls may have thick legs but really skinny tops. It depends. However, looking at her, with the way she packs on pounds, she is fat.
