[Pop Culture] Jessica Simpson Loves Bacon

Actually, scientifically speaking, that is Super Morbid Obesity.

 

I'm so torn.

I take great pride in my niche here as the defender of all things fat, on the other hand Jessica Simpson is reasonably talentless and dates a Dallas Cowboy.

I saw Kate Winslet on the SAG awards and thought she had smokin' curves..doubtless many of you who are don't consider someone healthy/sexy unless you can count every rib would be appalled.

 

I normally have no problem with celebs gaining a little weight. As Major Malcontent mentioned, Kate Winslet looks great with a few lbs, as does Renee Zelwegger and numerous others that have had the guts to eat a little more. But Jessica Simpson doesn't have it at this weight. With those other celebs it seemed like the extra poundage was distributed evenly and just served to accentuate their curves. With Jessica it seems to have packed on in odd ways, mostly her waist, which is not typical of women. So she gains weight, but still has little to no ass, which is unfortunate.

I'm going to cross my fingers and just hope that she ate Tony Romo.

It is odd that we notice someone looking 15-20 lbs over the "norm" that we see them on here, while we all fret over our weight on a weekly weigh-in thread each Monday.

Hypocrites, we are, we are.

I can't believe people are calling her fat.

 

She looks like an average woman in America...her extra weight just happens to be in wrong places. It's like come on, she's not fat, just gained some weight. She would be fat if she looked like Roseanne.

Kate Winslet is a perfect example for a healthy looking woman...

 

I was thinking the same thing...WTF...So she gained a little weight...big deal...I'd still hit it...again and again...

That is what a lot of people say. I've never really had the hots for her. Never sure exactly why.

 

That's not exactly a glowing endorsement given that over 62% of women in America are overweight (about half of those overweight women can be further categorized as obese).
Plus she's a celebrity that built her career on looks, not acting/singing/anything ability. If she looks like the average American woman then no thanks.

 

She is fat, look at her arms, it is not uber fat, but she is fat.

And trust me....I KNOW fat.

I have recently realized that one of my biggest turnoffs is jello arms.

 

She's not fat.

 

She's not really fat, just overweight. And I don't really have a "problem" with it at all - it's more that she insists on wearing clothes a couple sizes too small when she's in one of her heavier phases.

Wear a casual shirt instead of that double-belted top and you don't have those disturbing rolls going on.

Wear pants that fit right and you don't have a button holding on for dear life.

My only problem is it seems like a bit of weight went straight to her face. That's a buzz kill...not to mention the outfit. I don't think the angle of the shot was flattering either so it's probably worse than in person.
