They've got nothing on Paul McCartney and Bob Marley's wonderful duet "Say, Say, Say".

It's also a little known fact that the daughter of Bob Marley, Moon Unit Marley, was the vocalist on the hit song "Valley Girl."

    you are so wrong dude.
Bob Marley appeared on the Ghostbusters 2 soundtrack with On Our Own. He later married Whitney Houston, who sang the Greatest Love of All and Rhythm Nation

Damn, that was a great song.
I thought they broke up their friendship cause Bob bought the rights to all the Beatles songs like "Live Forever, and Champagne Supernova"

    Poor Paul!

I believe you are thinking of the movie "Trading Places" where Marley played the role of a rich white man who donned the disguise of a Jamaican Rastafarian on a train.

No no no! You're thinking of Richard Pryor and his white son, Macaulay Culkin. Great movie, BTW!

    You guys are mean.

For a long time I also thought any song with an island rhythm was sang by Bobby Darin.

Hey, for some reason it's a common misconception.

Back when I was playing with ska and reggae bands, I used to play at all the Bob Marley Festivals held in Texas (a few every year). It's customary for the bands to include one Marley cover in the set. I can't imagine the outrage if we had tried to pass off "Don't Worry, Be Happy" as a Marley song.

    Please stop this rubbish.
How dare any of you say anysong is better than Bob's originial version of "return of the mack". That was classic.

    that was classic.
another heart wencher was the one with him and Mikhail Baryshnikov as ballet dancers in White Knights. The theme song that Bob sang was perfect "Say you, Say Me"
