Did anyone get to hear Glen Rice's phone interview (all the way from San Fran) on FOX 26? Glen said so many good things about JVG. He said he does not want to take anything away from RudyT but that a team like the Rox need coach like JVG who will work you hard and get in your face if need be. Glen also said that Rudy allowed his players to figure it out their way but that is not JVG's way - he will let you know about it and you better deliver. It felt good to hear that from Glen but interestingly JVG does not come accross as an in-your-face if-need-be kind of a guy. He is also a good Xs and Os guy. The Rox are better with this guy on our side.
Rice won't be traded. He actually did pretty good last year and fit his role fine. I bet they resign him at a lower salary after this year and use him ala Bullard.
