James is probably real happy he will get a chance to jack some shots up now in New Orleans.

The hornets really need them. Actually, it's a good thing for them.

I'm OK with him as a teammate and hope he finds a decent contract (objectively, I doubt he gets even the full MLE next year, given the way the market works, unless he really impresses as a Hornet). I'm just saying that if he really really wanted to make himself indispensible, he would have picked up the rotaions better.

He didn't, the team thought they would not lose much-- and may even gain some-- with guys like Landry and Head taking his minutes. So, they are ok with sending him away to dump MJ's contract.

If he had done better on D, he would have had a better chance of staying. He does contribute on the offensive end and there is no lockerroom issues with him.

I wouldn't be surprised if those 2 guys will be the cause of the Hornets sliding down the playoff race, if they play significant minutes.

All I have to say is we better not meet him in the playoffs.

    Preview:

"And the rockets have no that can guard Wells in the post!"

"The rockets just cant keep Wells off the boards!"

"And bonzi wells averages 18ppg and 12rpg against the rockets in the playoffs"

I just have a feeling, but then again it could be more like.......

"And Wells is averaging just around 5.3 min per game and is not having the impact that hornets fans expected!"

Its a contract year so im leaning towards the 1 scenario

I wonder whether Bonzi would pull an act like what he did to us under JVG
during playoffs and hope NOH would release him.

Bonzi: Damn man, I was not supposed to be here if it isn't for your whining.

MJ: Look at the bright side, I'll be bobby jackson here in new orleans :D

Come on we are talking Lebron James. No one can stop him and James did a better job against Battier than Bonzi. By the way what game where you watching cause what I saw was Battier having the most trouble with James. Battier is definitely better than Bonzi but Bonzi's defense is better than you suggest. Look at the box score. James scored all but 3 of his second half points against Battier. And there was a stretch were he made Battier look silly. Bonzi's defense wasn't the best but it amazes me how people just make up stuff to try and prove a point.

    Italian Taliored Suit - $5,000

    Diamond Stud Earrings - $900

    Fresh new haircut $25

Knowing this loser with the velvet jacket sitting next to you might have just ruined the rest of your pro career - priceless

Couldnt be happier his fat, lazy, over rated ass is gone. What did he do so great? He would have one good game out of 10. Now we have a decent backup to relieve Refer against Kidd, Paul, Nash and Parker. That will be more important come playoff time than anything Bonsi would bring on occasion.

What is it about the Rockets that makes players want to stay here? When was the last time we've heard a Rocket demanding a trade? I definitely can't think of any in recent years. Just like how Bonzi is bummed about the trade, I remember Stromile Swift and Jim Jackson not wanting to leave Houston when they got traded. Mike James also clearly likes this city and organization as well, having called it his home. Then there's Francis who pretty much forced his way back onto this team last summer.

Well, Kirk Snyder kinda did, though he didn't really have the clout to "demand" a trade, he just "requested" one.

Come to think of it, pretty sure James whined earlier this year as well. Something to the effect of "play me or trade me."

Snyder wanted a chance to play and showcase what he can do in a contract year. I think it was more about that and PT than it was not wanting to be here in Houston.
