I used to have a book about the various openings in chess and another book on general play. Gave both books away because I wasn't playing. There is something about the game that captures the interest of people around the world. Do you ever decide (guess) that a BBS member plays (or had played) chess based on the way they interact & post?
No doubt 1 person winning at chess was much more indicative of American intellectualism than the success of our economy or landing on the moon.
Then you should find it odd that our government still can tell you not to do business with specific countries, eh?
