There is additional confirmation for you. Again, none of us are too particularly proud of it, but it is indeed a fact.
Ha! My guess is they just updated it last night, because yesterday the Aggies weren't in the top ten. Two kids from Jasper commited to A&M last night, including a 5-star offensive linemen. I'm sure that brings them up in every ranking.
Picking up commitments from Jorrie and Red was HUGE. This solidifies both the OL and DL. Hopefully we can add Xavier Lawson-Kennedy and Fred St. Preaux before signing day.
Thank goodness we have almost 2 weeks! We need to get some together and throw a little more at these guys than the aggy.
I'm glad the horns put a little jinx on (nice timing). Jorrie and Red were huge pick-ups. Now if we can just get XLK, Taylor and St. Preaux.
Texas recruited Jorrie, but didn't offer Red. That was the problem...Jorrie and Red said early on that they wanted to go to the same school. Why Texas would fail to offer either of these guys is beyond me. Both of them are really good prospects.
aggy north = oklahoma anm = OSU sand aggy = texas technical = Tech No bet for money. If it's a signature bet I'm game. Refman, DCKid: I can't believe yall haven't backed me up. You really think Mack Brown (Mack Brown!) can win a conference title before Frannochio.
I think the Jorrie information is a little pre-mature. Hopefully it's just a matter of time till he makes his "official" announcement. Just trying to be accurate.
I don't want to sound like I'm rooting for aggy over UT so here's hoping I'm wrong, but based on the track records of Brown and Frannochio, it doesn't look good.
Bah. Stop getting excited. TAMU has literally 0 chance of finishing above UT in the recruiting wars. You guys were just soooooooo proud of the fact that you were ranked ahead a couple months ago. It won't happen. Have fun. Enjoy whatever consolation prizes you win. UT will finish in the top 3. You won't. Ha ha ha. Enjoy being 2nd best in Texas.... again. Enjoy your recruiting victory over Tech.
Its quite simple, Texas has limited scholarships this year so they are being very selective in who they go after. Sure they wanted to make a run at Adams, but they were not going to feel as though they had to offer another scholarship to a kid in a position that is filled is the primary reason Would Red have gotten the playing time? Texas recruited heavily on the D-line last year and they had a couple of commits for this year already thus they were not going use up one of their few scholarships on him.
I think the last time Mack tried this was with Yamil Lebron/Tommie Harris. Lebron didn't make it in and we know what happened to Tommie. Thank you Stockar Mcdougle.
I don't get why they're "Poor Aggies" when they have a Top 10 class. Especially since Brown is known for his recruiting, while Francione is known for his coaching. Top 10, Top 20, Top 30 recruiting class...does it really matter when you have a high-caliber coach? I don't think so. haven, you seem to have become a pretty passionate UT fan in a very short period of time.
OSU used to be the Aggies and is still widely known around Oklahoma(I thought they were elsewhere too, but judging from this post, I guess not) as the Aggies.
