They're lazy; but a notable brand, decent sweater vest or accessories, and matching colors at least shows you're making an effort.
I wear Polos because I am freaking lazy... I don't have to iron Polos, and I don't give a rats ass about how I look in a business casual environment. Also, if you travel... Polos made for outdoor use like golf shirts are a godsend when it comes to pulling them out of a suitcase. Zero wrinkles FTW.
There's not a damn thing wrong with wearing a Polo Shirt unless you wanna go for the popped collar D Bag look.
I guess for some folks it just looks stupid??? Me personally, I don't care what people wear just treat everybody with respect and have a good posture and we're good to go.
Judging the posters from most of the threads in the Hangout, CF is the last place someone should come for fashion advice. Polos are fine.
I don't look down on them, but I have a long, distinguished, yet tragic BBS history for not wanting to wear one myself. I don't mind if other people wear them of course, even if they'd all look better in something other than the confusion that is a polo shirt.

Ah, yes, I don't know about everybody else, but I think we're talking about the cut of shirt versus the brand itself.
