One plus basically whatever draft picks they want, but not both of our best young guys. Preferably Sengun, not because I think he will necessarily be a worse player than Amen, but because I think the fit between him and Luka is not as good (Luka needs elite defenders around him).

Nah. Half trolling. I think they are all roughly the same value.

Green is the most gifted scorer. Sengun the most gifted post player and Amen the most gifted defender.

When people try to squint and see Amen as a lead ball handler who attacks POA defenses, that's what they hope for and assume that is what Amen is now and that is what makes them think Amen has more talent.

Amen scores based on opportunities generated from gravity of more talented offensive players. When he tries to be someone who attacks POA defenses it gets ugly. And then we pretend that Amen has this long runway to develop and Green is closer to a finished product when they are less than a year apart in age.

Sengun is a center with lower volume and lower ratio of his fgs self created compared to Green and STILL has a worse ts% and efg%.

Most talented player can't even lead us to a win versus the nets without Sengun. Damn

Half trolling. I think Sengun and Amen are overvalued relative to Green in terms of discourse and I actually bring up reasons why that I think are fair. At the end of the day I think they all are near equal in value.

What's our record without Sengun the past couple of seasons?

If we are going to use one game sample sizes, then I'll use a month from last season with essentially the same roster.

And in that one game sample size that argument really harms Amen doesn't it because you saw what happens when he has to step in to be a co-self creator along with Jalen. And we are talking about someone less than a year younger than Green so we aren't talking about some dude has a much longer runway for development than Green.

I can't say no, but I would offer a lot before ever offering Amen. Sengun, yes. Jalen, yes.

I still wonder though if there is something major here that Dallas knows that we don't. It's just un-be-lie-va-ble that they just traded Luka Doncic. Something is not right.

    No way.

I'd rather have Amen & Sengun...

Especially when you factor in àge salary, and upside.

Hell yeah.. Luka got the West spooked... He has destroyed 50 win teams them by himself in the playoffs... You can still trade Cam, Eason, and picks for a borderline big man too ( Turner, etc

Same. Just think if Luka was actually on the market. Okc and Utah offers every draft pick they have till 2055. Make no sense.

I wouldn’t trade Amen for Jesus Christ himself.

Something must have happened behind the scenes, or they know something they can't say publicly. Cocaine addiction, something crazy like something criminal, a major injury risk that is undisclosed, or something. Just really weird.

I think they wanted to make it quick to avoid the bs, drama, and media scrutiny... It would've made for a ultra messy divorce .. This was its already done so opinions don't matter IMO

I wouldn't trade either straight up. Doncic obviously doesn't care about his health and doesn't play defense. We are much better off going for another superstar like Ant. Seriously I don't think I would trade Amen for anyone in the league and Sengun only for Jokic or Ant. Amen and Sengun are the core of our core.

I wouldn't trade Sengun for Ant either. Jalen is not as good as Ant, but similar in terms of what he brings. Sengun is much more unique. Jokic a harder call as he is one of the all-time GOATS, I think it comes down to age.

Agree….especially when you consider he was traded to another Western Conference contender. Honestly, I’ve heard he has a difficult personality and it can be seen by the way he cries about every call on the court. Based on that, should be a good fit with LeBron.
