    Simmons might not be a franchise player but to be a contender you almost always need a second option as well as possibly a third

    The odds would not have been in our favor but a team of cade, simmons and wood is actually something worth building around

    Cade is not the be all and end all in my opinion.

    I agree, but the time table is more leisurely when you take the draft picks package.

    With the Simmons package, you can make an argument for Wall remaining on the roster during 2020 transition year but after that you are suffocating your capspace.

    Or you can trade Simmons for FRP(s) + players.

    There are options.
