I'm unconcerned with giving up draft picks.

I don't want to part with any rotation player but Ryno. The Knicks don't have "Trevor Ariza"-size leverage here, nor does any facilitating team.

The correct answer here is None: wait for Knicks to buy out his ass. Why is everyone in a hurry to get Meelo before the season starts? We already have to integrate Cp3 and Harden on the same team, how about letting them work it out first?

The correct time to trade for Melo is at the deadline, this allows Harden and Cp3 to build chemistry first before you add additional variables in. What if Anderson and Gordon come out with a ball busting performance? You'll never know because you traded them too soon. Patience is the key here, don't be like knicks who lost their good players when they could have signed Melo anyway.

If its just integrating one guy into the system you can do that from deadline to the playoffs. You don't need Meelo in the regular season, you want that star in the playoffs. There several months from deadline to the playoffs that is more than enough time to figure it out.

Your rationale is the stupid one, why lose resources if you don't have to? Anderson is just coming off a horrible playoff performance, his value is rock bottom nobody wants him. Thats why Rox are having a hard time because they need to pay a high price to get Melo. But Cp3 makes everybody better, half a season of playing with both Cp3 and Harden will raise his stock and make him look better in trades. You even know of melodrama will happen during the season and NYN buys out Melo or an even better player becomes available, anything can happen. You just want to see Melo Cp3 and Harden together and don't see the big picture at all.

Everyone. If you haven't figured out that Morey's goal for all these years has been to rebuild the team around Melo. I don't know what you've been paying attention to.
