That's like asking a moose hunter or fisherman to be your attorney in a murder trial. "He's not all bogged down in the LAW and stuff like that. I think a fresh prospective is needed here..."
One of my favorite movies. The thing about Stewart's character is that he was smart and understood the procedures and issues. He had a desire to learn what he didn't know. Contrast that with Palin who has not shown any interest in learning, and brags about people but can't list examples of the things she brags about, claims to have gained knowledge by reading, but can't name what she reads. It is far different than Mr. Smith. Another thing about Stewart's character is that he's humble. He doesn't put others down, or try and seize power for himself. Contrast that with Palin talking about expanding the constitution to give more powers the the VP(the position she's running for.) That is far from humble. She also said that she agreed with Cheney's idea that the Vice Presidency isn't part of the executive branch, so the checks that apply to that office won't apply to her as VP. The only thing she has in common with Mr. Smith is that she hasn't worked in Washington before. Their outlook, attitude, and how government ought to function are complete opposites.
Why even bother with a thread like this? It's like asking a bunch of Rockets fans who was better between Dream and Shaq.
