With about 25 days left until the season, I wanted to make this thread to see who you guys think will have the best rookie season. The safe bet is Lamb, but you never know. *lock if a thread like this already exists.
Lamb because he's bound to get the best opportunity roster wise. It's up to him to make the most of it, of course. After that, I'll be a homer and say Motiejunas. Also, I always take size when in doubt.
This season? Lamb. he seems to be the most NBA ready among those guys. Long term? I think Donuts has the highest ceiling.
Lamb will end up with like 13-14ppg and not much else, assuming we deal Martin during the year White: 7-5-3, when he finds his mental balance Jones: 9-5. I think his minutes will consistently increase as the year progresses Motie: 10-4.5. He may struggle early, but his talent will shine through when he settles in. Machado: 4-3apg. He'll become the primary backup eventually.
you're kidding, right? I mean, i'd be happy if he averaged that, but he'll be playing behind martin till february 2013 like someone else just mentioned.
Lamb, seriously?? Have any of you guys seen his play in the scrimmages, especially compared to Douglas or even Forbes. Other then hitting his shots, nobody has said that Lamb stood out but Douglas and Forbes to a certain degree have. My guess is the guard rotation right now is: Lin with Douglas behind him, Martin with Delfino and possibly Machado / Livingston some mins at PG with Douglas at SG. I took D-Mo because even though Jones looks great, I'm not sure if he can bang with the big forwards and D-Mo is taller and probably stronger.
