I voted paul cause it really is him his on off numbers are like 15 point swings but I love the green pickup and he's easily my favorite player to watch in the games played since harden went down. Harden injury can be a blessing in disguise. Chances are GG doesn't get this much playtime if harden is not out. When James comes back as well as luc we will be really really strong on the wing. We can run some interesting smallball lineups with green luc harden Gordon and cp3 or take Gordon or cp3 out for tucker and u have 4 guys 6'5 and taller who can all switch and shoot the three ball.
I wasn't comparing everyone's career here. I was talking about 4 games when James was out. Some guys really stepped up their "B" or "C" game as you may think of them next to Paul. Some of those guys have also worked hard for as many years as Chris, without near the respect for giving their all to make it in this league. Some of these guys have outplayed others, and been the difference makers in their own way these last 4 games. I don't find it disrespectful to acknowledge that and let people vote here for some Houston Rockets giving it their all.
True statement. But.....in a games where every point counts with Harden out, you could make that same argument for Green scoring 74 points from behind the arc alone in 4 games. Efficiency means everything when a couple missed shots are the difference in winning or losing.
Chris Paul is the leader and overall best player on both sides of the floor though... he's the straw that stirs the drink here. I love Gerald and right now i see him as extremely important and probably the xfactor for us in the playoffs (hoping Ryan Anderson isn't) but he isn't the mvp of this team over CP3.
So yeah. Chris Paul. You can take the Portland game as an example. Green and Gordon are good. But without Chris Paul, we'd be a sinking ship.
CP3 has played for the most part great but that's expected. Gordon has exceeded my expectations but honestly gotta give to Green, guy has played out of his mind & has picked up Ryno/Tuckers slack.
Does the Gerald Green addition end the crying about how Morey sucks for only having a 9 man rotation?
Best feel-good story during Harden's absence? Green, and it's not even close. MVP during Beard's absence, PLUS the difference that might get us to the WCF or farther this year? CP3, and anyone who says otherwise is clearly delusional.
Why would you hope Ryan Anderson isn't the xfactor in the playoffs? I get not liking the way someone is playing, being disappointed, or even disgusted with it. What I don't get is to hope someone doesn't do good. I hope I misunderstood what you meant.
